LATEST PG SHOWCASE REPORT
2026 PG Underclass All-American Games
Diego Cruz is a 2028 C/OF with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Hatillo, PR who attends Colegio Evangelico Captain Correa. Tall young build with some present strength and plenty of physical projection remaining. Right handed hitter, has a deep and late hand load with a simple short stride into contact, line drive path, swings hard and gets extended, flashed some lift to left center field when timed up. Primary catcher on defense, sets up right knee down, is athletic out of his crouch and stays on line well, compact arm action with solid arm strength, made accurate throws and repeated his mechanics and foot work. Also worked out in the outfield, has run a 6.79 sixty at past PG events. Good student.
