Scott Fritz is a 2028 1B/LHP/OF with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Hawthorne, CA who attends Orange Lutheran. Big physical frame. That can really impact the baseball to all fields and will grow into more power as he continues to mature. Its a loose and leveraged left-handed stroke that gets to well extended contact frequently. Easy separation with backspin through the gaps. Simple strokestarts with the hands high. In the outfield, its smooth actions through the catch point. Glove works out front and transfers well into a full arm swing that produces real carry to both bases. On the mound, Its a fluid and loose delivery with good extension down the slope. Repeats well and is already running the fastball into the mid-80's. Curveball has good depth and can change the eye level of opposing bats. Also flashed a firm tighter slider and a Changeup that are well ahead of his years. 7.44 60-yard. Selected to the 2024 14U Select Festival.
