Michael Joseph (2023 C, Lothian, MD) showed off some power with two doubles in todays action. He works the middle of the field nicely and lets the ball get deep into the hitting zone. He shows good leverage and good barrel skills to make hard consistent contact.
Kyle Grimsley (2022 1B, Sykesville, MD) racked up two hits this afternoon. Kyle shows good bat speed and hit the ball where its pitched. Kyle has an advanced approach at the plate and keeps the barrel in the hitting zone a long time.
Andrew Cheripka (2022 RHP, Woodbridge, VA) smoked a double to left field. He shows good bat speed and the ability to turn on ball, showing good pull-side pop.
Zachery Broderick (2022 LHP, Fairfield, CT) hit a long home run in the late innings of action this afternoon. He shows good bat speed and intent to do damage at the plate. Zachery has lift in his swing and was able to drive one over the mini monster in left field.
Kyle Cincinnati (2021 C, Sinking Spring, PA) was all over the bases today, showing good speed on the bases and around the bases on his triple to left field. Kyle also roped a single in his first at bat to left field showing he can really handle the inner half of the plate.
Ryan Bilka (2022 SS, Latham, NY) ripped a triple in his last at bat for the showcase. He shows good speed around the bases and the ability to turn on ball. Ryan also closed the game out on the mound running his fastball up to 86mph. He struck out two batters and did not allow a hit showing good arm speed and command to both sides of the plate.
Owen Roach (2023 RHP, Sykesville, MD) worked a very effective three innings in the ball game. He was able to work zero hits, striking out six batters. Owen kept hitter off balance at the plate working in three pitches for good command of the zone, his fastball worked up to 77mph. He also flashed his changeup at 66mph, and curveball at 60mph throwing them all for strikes.
