Tanner Sanderoff is a 2023 LHP/OF with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Silver Spring, MD who attends James Hubert Blake. Slender young build with lots of physical development remaining. Very good athlete with two-way potential. Primary pitcher, works from the stretch with a high leg lift delivery, loads well on his backside and uses his lower half efficiently going down the mound, fast and extended arm from a 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 85 mph with some cutting life at times, really did a good job throwing strikes with his fastball. Change up was an outstanding second pitch with nice arm speed and feel. Still developing feel and consistency for his curveball. 6.92 runner, has athletic actions in the outfield to the ball, exaggerated crow hop impacts his release and accuracy but shows good young arm strength. Left handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a good shift into contact, fluid swing with good bat speed, gets the barrel out and can turn it for hard pull line drive contact. Very good athlete who is going to keep improving as he gets stronger and more physically mature. Named to the Fall East Coast Top Prospect List.
