2021 Top Prospects

Christian Bautista  1B - 2021 - Lyndhurst, NJ
Felician College

Bautista had a very impressive batting practice crushing two balls out, and carried into the game hitting a bomb on the first pitch. Bautista has great feel for the glove and a strong arm throwing 83 MPH.

Jason Shockley  C - 2021 - Greenwood, DE
Rutgers

Shockley is a smooth and easy behind the plate, with soft hands, quick feet and mechanics, pop time of 1.83. The Rutgers commit it is very aggressive at the plate with a nice smooth swing, he have great barrel control.

Noah Iseman  1B - 2021 - Worton, MD
Radford

Iseman has great presents on the field and in the batters box. The Radford commit showed excellent bat to ball skills with great power swing the ball jump off his bat.

Andrew Smithson  LHP - 2021 - Andover, MA
Uncommitted

Smithson has a fastball that is on top of the hitter in a hurry with late life on the ball topping 87 MPH. Smithson mixes in a tight 12/6 curve ball with great spin and depth on the ball, striking out six in three innings of work.


2022 Top Prospects

Alvin Keels  SS - 2022 - Portsmouth, VA
Miami (OH)

Keels made it look easy on the field with great footwork, a smooth glove, and strong throws across the diamond at 85 MPH. Keel, the Miami commit, has a great swing with a lot of power and displays quickness alongside his great hitting tools.

Ryan Bilka  SS - 2022 - Latham, NY
Wagner

Bilka ripped a triple in his last at bat of the showcase with a quick bat and good speed around the bases. Bilka closed the game by striking out two in his lone inning of work with his fastball topping 86 MPH.

Zachery Broderick  LHP - 2022 - Fairfield, CT
Merrimack

Broderick took the mound and was in control, striking out six in three innings of work. Broderick hid the ball well with a very deceptive delivery making it very difficult for the hitters to barrel the ball.

Julian Matthews  RHP - 2022 - Washington, DC
Uncommitted

Matthews is a strike throwing machine and went three innings with four strikeouts on only 39 pitches. Matthews has a long and quick arm with such explosion that the ball jumps out of his hand.


2023 Top Prospects

Ceph Christie  MIF - 2023 - Washington, DC
Uncommitted

Christie worked out in multiple sessions and was outstanding through all of them. Christie is a very twitchy athlete with great field presence. During the outfield and infield workouts, he ranged to the ball with ease and has a great arm throwing 83 from the OF and 80 in the INF.

Ryan Demartin  RHP - 2023 - Ashburn, VA
Georgetown

Demartin has tremendous command of all his pitches by putting the ball anywhere in the zone. He went three innings with four strikeouts on only 36 pitches. Demartin works with great tempo, a heavy fastball, and a sweeping breaking ball that has great depth on it.

Kyle Johnson  OF - 2023 - Leesburg, VA
Duke

Johnson was unhittable striking out the side on 15 pitches. He has late life on the ball with great sink and was topping 84 MPH. Johnson mixed in a good curve ball out of the same arm slot as his fastball.

Kydese Queen Jr.  RHP - 2023 - Waldorf, MD
Norfolk State

Queen Jr. is a tremendous all-around athlete both in the outfield and infield. His workouts showcased great range and great glove work. At the plate, Queen Jr. exhibits bat speed and power in his swing while also pitching three innings with five strike outs and topped 83 MPH.

Tanner Sanderoff  LHP - 2023 - Silver Spring, MD
Hofstra

Sanderoff shows a great feel for pitching at his young age with a good command of his fastball on both sides of the plate. Topping 85 MPH, Sanderoff has a quick arm and great downward action with late life on the ball.

Brody Shawn  RHP - 2023 - Alexandria, VA
Wake Forest

Shawn has a very deceptive delivery and hides the ball well making it very uncomfortable for the hitters as his fastball has late life and topped 87 MPH.
