He shows a quicker arm and sound extension on the front side. His 78-83 mph fastball is well commanded and has commendable downward plane. He works the edges and stays off the middle of the plate. His 72 mph hybrid breaking ball shows solid shape and crisp, sweeping break at the dish. At 1B, Julian also displays a sound ability. His actions are consistent and play well. He reads the ball off the bat routinely. He positions quickly and his glove work is pure and easy. He transitions well and his quicker trigger allow for his 79 mph throws to hold their plane and be consistently on target. At the plate, Julian's strong upper half help him get his barrel to and through contact with force. His advanced eye-hand coordination is very noticeable. He has plus whip to his barrel and a slugger's lift at contact. Julian is an advancing player who will only be limited by how much he wants to put into his growth as an athlete. With exposure to higher level competition and continued work in the weight room so as to add some physicality, Julian's future should be limitless.
