4-Red vs. 5-Royal Game Highlights

6/11/2025

Liam Purcell (2026 3B, Central, SC) got his day started quickly, smoking one up the middle for a loud base hit. Strong kid with some really good strength through the ball.

Evan Osterman (2026 SS, Newnan, GA) was out to start for the blue squad, showing some impressive sinking stuff in on the hands. Works very well to get ground balls. Osterman has also shown both the CB and CH as well, with the changeup at 77 with good fade action.

Adrian Gomez (2026 LHP, Murfreesboro, TN) came out firing in the first inning, running the fastball up to 85 and sat there for a few batters. He has also shown a good slider in the mid 70s with sweep.

Easton Ridlehoover (2026 SS, Rogers, MN) smoked one into the gap for a triple in his first at bat on the day, showing clear strength at the dish to the gaps. He then added another later in the game, launching this one into the LCF gap for another loud triple.

Michael Nottleman (2026 LHP, Columbus, GA) worked consistently in the 84-86 range with good arm side run and sink from a long, lanky frame. Tons of projectability here with some development and strength added. Has also flashed a bigger curveball in the high 60s in his first.

Kurtis Maher (2026 LHP, Cumming, GA) worked with a lot of confidence in his outing, getting through his innings very quickly. The fastball worked in the low 80s with some sink, inducing a lot of ground balls.

Tai Jones (2026 OF, Brandon, MS) had some mixed results due to some control issues but was putting the arm strength on display in his outing. He ran the fastball up to 90 and sat comfortably in the upper 80s with some ride.

JJ Grove (2026 SS, Wichita, KS) launched one into the RCF gap for a long triple, showing off the opposite field power and speed. Did a really good job letting this one travel and staying through the middle of the field. Also hammered a line drive to deep left for a long double later on in the game.

Nick Gifoli (2026 MIF, Rancho Santa Margarita, CA) had a successful showing on the mound, working a 3-pitch mix with this fastball in the low 80s range. The changeup is the best offspeed, killing the spin well in the mid 70s (~1163).

Troy Fisher (2026 SS, Liberty, MO) finished this one off and showed off an intriguing frame with the lanky build. He ran the fastball up to 86 with some arm side run, and even flashed a cutter in the low 80s with good bite.
