Carson Ray is a 2026 SS/RHP with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Atlanta, GA who attends Woodward Academy. Athletic, wiry build with good traits. Ran a 7.18 in the sixty. Primary infielder, plenty of range up the middle and has some twitch on the dirt. Clean glove work with soft set of hands. Fundamentally sound with a good arm across. Soft feet and was in control. Also pitched, some drop and drive mechanics from an over-the-top slot. Showed some life to the fastball in the low-80s with clean vertical shape to his breaking ball. In the zone and forced outs, pitched backwards on occasion. Right-handed hitter, slightly open base with high hand set. Solid round and worked the barrel to all fields. Loose swing and moves in well. Strength showed to both gaps with quick hands out front. Lots to like on both sides. Very good student. Named to Top Prospect list.
