5-Orange Vs. 7-Royal Game Highlights

Ben Sinnott (2020 1B, Waterloo, IA) Flashed a level barrel plane with good barrel control during the game on Sunday collecting two base hits including a loud line drive back up the middle of the field showing good bat speed and barrel control. 

Lincoln Berry (2021 2B, Inver Grove Heights, MN) The projectable 2021 grad showed an easy swing with a line drive approach. Flashed good barrel control with the line drive approach collecting two base hits during the game including a loud line drive over the short stops head. 

Will Skjold (2021 C, St. Paul, MN) was impressive on both sides of the ball. At the plate Will flashed a powerful swing with impressive bat speed with a mashed double off the center field wall. On the mound the Minnesota native showed an athletic delivery with a two pitch mix including a heavy fastball up to 84 mph and a sharp curveball creating swing and miss up to 67 mph. 

Jakob Johnson (2021 RHP, Pingree Grove, IL) Flashed present gap to gap power with a slightly elevated barrel plane and quick hands to the baseball on Sunday. Displayed the present power with a loud double into the right center field gap.

Alex Kelsch (2020 SS, Aurora, IL) Displayed an easy swing with high bat to ball skills. Showed impressive barrel control with a opposite field line drive and a hard single up the middle. 

6-Red vs 8-White Game Highlights

8/11/2019

Adam Casali (2020 C, Verona, WI) Strong in game swings getting solid results. Hit a double early in the game to the left centerfield gap. Barreled it up well and created lift out in front. 

Gavin Busby (2020 LHP, Evansville, WI) Athletic build with a line drive swing plane. Solid contact off the barrel collecting a couple of base hits in the game. Drove a line drive over second base able to work back up the middle well. 

Jimmy Koza (2022 SS, Carpentersville, IL) Quick hands through the zone on a flat bat path staying on plane for an extended period of time. Looks to the pull side getting around the baseball. Worked a couple of base hits in the game.

Grant Bryant (2021 SS, Center Point, IA) Started the game working two innings on the mound and striking out five batters without a allowing a run. Hides the ball well and was a tough look for righthanded hitters. Late run on the fastball sitting at 77 MPH with more to come. Also mixed in both a slider and changeup able to land both for strikes. 



1-Black vs 3-Gold Game Highlights

Zachary Johnson (2020 C, Omaha, NE) Moves well around the bases and has the speed to swipe extras. Quick hands as well driving a ball to the pull side for a double into the corner.

Max McCallum (2021 OF, Aurora, IL) Solid all-around offensive ball player. High contact approach with a couple of singles in the game including a hard hit line drive through the right side. Also stole a couple of bases with his speed on the paths.

Reed Stallman (2021 1B, Robins, IA) Was a high-end stand out player in the game. Doubled in his first at bat hammering a ball into right center field. Also drove a single into the left field corner. IN his final at-bat he drive a ball to third base that was also struck well.

Connor Luoma (2020 OF, Twin Lakes, WI) Strong on the mound through two innings of work. Adds solid movement on his pitches with a heavy fastball through the zone at 84 MPH. Also flashed an 11-to-5 breaking ball with solid depth. IN his two innings he struck out five of the six outs.

Sam Siegel (2020 3B, Sioux Falls, SD) Hit a loud triple to start the game off well on a drive into the left centerfield gap. Very controlling approach at the plate. Would also single in his final at-bat of the day.

Michael Clarkson (2023 C, Lake Forest, IL) Solid hand path at the plate working to contact well through a flatter plane. Had two singles in the game including an infield hit where he was able to show off his top speed.

Slade Sibenaller (2021 SS, Carroll, IA) Was able to get his first hit in the final at-bat of his weekend. Drove a loud double to the wall in left field showing off an elevated path with the ability to create some lift out in front. 

Braden Sayles (2021 OF, Rockton, IL) Was a solid arm late in the game completing two innings of work with just two hits allowed. Heavy fastball through the zone with feel for the edges of the plate at 83 MPH. Mixes in a fading changeup and a sharp two-plane, curveball landing both in the zone for quality strikes.






2-Columbia Blue vs 4-Green Game Highlights

8/11/2019

Jackson Wentworth (2021 RHP, Urbandale, IA) A primary pitcher that really stood out on Sunday with the bat. Displays the ability to control the barrel in game with a couple of sharp hit balls. Finished the game 2-for-3 with two singles.

Garrett Kadolph (2022 RHP, Dubuque, IA) Large frame working onto the front side with some linear actions. Loud double to deep centerfield showing off some present strength with loud barreled contact.

Nick Clarkson (2021 3B, Lake Forest, IL) Very contact oriented approach looking to put the barrel on the ball which he was able to do with consistency. Collected two hits, including an infield single and line drive back up the middle. Also stood out on the mound with arm quickness through release working the fastball up to 82 MPH. Worked two innings and allowed just a single hit.

Joey Little (2022 OF, Hawthorn Woods, IL) Stays inside the baseball well and can drive hard contact to all fields. Worked a strong at-bat and hit a line drive to right field for a single early. Later in the game hit a hard line drive into the left field corner for a triple. Also worked two scoreless innings with three strikeouts sitting in the mid-70's with the fastball. 

Nick Nowak (2021 C, Waukesha, WI) Doubled early in the game on a sharp line drive off the wall in left field. Quick hands to the baseball on a direct, line drive bat path. 

James Jefferson (2021 RHP, Des Moines, IA) Went down and got a low pitch around the knees and drove it into left field for a double. Flashes quickness in his hands with some present power through the pull side. 





7-Royal vs 8-White Game Highlights

Maxwell Packingham (2020 C, Hiawatha, IA) The 2020 grad stays behind contact well and creates a naturally leveraged barrel plane through extension. Collected two hits while stealing a base.

Carter Rohman (2020 SS, Highland, MI) Flashed athletic actions all over the field. Shows very good range with mature actions defensively and flashed plus bat speed and strength at the plate.

Sabastian Kloss (2020 RHP, Milwaukee, WI) Showed good arm speed while on the mound while generating solid downhill plane up to 84 mph. Looked to aggressively attack hitters with fastball and changed speeds with a late sweeping slider. Kloss also impressed at the plate showing a clean, line drive barrel plane with present bat speed. Collected two hits in game action.

Carson Cahoy (2020 OF, Grand Island, NE) Showed the ability to control the barrel and work to all fields. Tripled to the opposite field corner in his last at bat of the game.

Adam Casali (2020 C, Verona, WI) The Wisconsin native showed a clean, slightly lifted barrel plane that created good carry to the gaps when squared. Turned the barrel to contact well doubling to the left center field gap in his first at-bat of the game.

5-Orange vs 6-Red Game Highlights

Grady Gorgen (2020 OF, Mineral Point, WI) Gorgen utilized a smooth, line drive barrel plane while flashing solid bat speed. Showed the ability to control the barrrel and work to all fields, collected two hits in game action.

Gavin Busby (2020 LHP, Evansville, WI) Busby showed good movement with his fastball in the upper 70's to low 80's, topped at 82 mph. Consistently challenged hitters and utilized a tight, late breaking curveball as an out pitch. The 2020 grad worked four hitless innings while striking out four batters.

Jimmy Koza (2022 SS, Carpentersville, IL) Koza displayed a knack for finding the barrel and proved to be a difficult out while at the plate.

Zak Wauters (2021 C, Dike, IA) Wauters showed good feel for the barrel while flashing quick hands through extension. Consistently barreled the baseball collecting three hits in game actions including a double in his first at-bat.

Ben Taxdahl (2021 RHP, Prior Lake, MN) The Minnesota native showed a heavy fastball through the zone that jumped on hitter, topped at 83 mph. Breaking ball flashed tight 11/5 shape with late depth in the mid 70's. Taxdahl worked four scoreless innings while striking out six batters.

1-Black vs 2-Col. Blue Game Highlights

Dylan Elazegui (2020 OF, Burr Ridge, IL) Showed good balance at the plate with a smooth, repeatable barrel plane. Collected two sharp singles in his first two trips to the plate.

Max McCallum (2021 OF, Aurora, IL) Proved to be a tough out and was constantly on time with all pitches. Showed the barrel feel to work to all fields. Collected two base hits in his last two at-bats of the game.

Ty Uchman (2023 LHP, Grand Rapids, MI) Impressed at the plate today showing the ability to throw bat head out front to contact. Collected two hits including a double down the line. On the mound, the 2023 grad showed good feel for the edges of the zone while effectively changing speeds. Uchman worked four scoreless innings while striking out five batters.

Jackson Wentworth (2021 RHP, Urbandale, IA) Wentworth showed electric life through the zone with a fastball that topped at 89 mph. The 2021 grad aggressively attacked the strike zone and showed good feel for a sharp 11/5 breaking ball. Wentworth worked four inning while striking out nine batters.

Julius Sanchez (2022 RHP, Lasalle, IL) The Illinois native displayed good arm speed through the zone with a fastball that flashed heavy actions in the low to mid 80's, topped at 85 miles per hour. Flashed very tight spin with his breaking ball that generated late, hard depth. Sanchez also showed very athletic actions at the plate with present bat speed. Collected two hits including a double.

Jalen Martinez (2020 OF, Clive, IA) Martinez utilized a clean, fluid barrel plane through the zone with good strength at contact. Produced loud, hard contact throughout the game including a double. Also was impressive on the mound working his fastball up to 84 mph.

Colin Driscoll (2023 OF, Waukee, IA) Swung with intent and generated good bat speed through extension. Showed the ability to turn the barrel with aggression and produce very loud contact. Doubled in his last at-bat of the game.

Cade Meek (2020 C, Kansas City, MO) Meek showed a naturally leveraged barrel plane through extension with the ability to generate tight back spin off the barrel when squared. Doubled deep into the left center field gap in his second at-bat of the game.

Gable Mitchell (2022 SS, Iowa City, IA) Mitchell showed a very mature approach at the plate with good jump off the barrel. Consistently generated sharp contact off the barrel collecting two base hits. Also proved to be a very effective on the base paths as well.

3-Gold vs 4-Green Game Highlights

8/10/2019

Dylan McVeigh (2021 2B, Cedar Rapids, IA) The 2021 grad looked to employ a linear barre plane through extension. Flashed solid bat speed when on time. Doubled in his first at bat of the game showing good speed into second base.

Sam Siegel (2020 3B, Sioux Falls, SD) Siegel releasesd from a low three-quarters arm slot that produced hard run to arm side in the low to mid 80's, topped at 84 mph. Consistently changed speed and kept hitters off balance while inducing weak contact. Siegel also showed good barrel feel at the plate collected two sharp singles.

Gavan Wernsing (2022 LHP, Effingham, IL) Wernsing showed good feel for a fastball offering that generate late natural cut to glove side in the low 80's, topped at 83 mph. The 2022 grad aggressively challenged hitters within the zone and allowed only one hit over three innings of work and struck out six batters.

Cole Hupke (2020 RHP, Brandon, SD) The South Dakota native effectively located his fastball to each edge of the plate and consistently challenged hitters with a fastball that sat in the mid to low 80's, topped at 85 mph. The 2020 grad worked four scoreless innings while striking out six batters.

James Jefferson (2021 RHP, Des Moines, IA) Jefferson showed very good arm speed through extension and produced good life with a fastball that ran up to 85 mph. Jefferson looked to attach hitters and effectively changed speeds with both a slider and changeup offering. The 2021 grad worked three innings striking out six batters.

Isaac Bender (2020 SS, Coralville, IA) Showed good balance in his swing with present bat speed through extension. Swung with intent to drive the baseball with authority. Collected three hard hits in game actions including a double down the line.

Nick Nowak (2021 C, Waukesha, WI) Displayed good feel for the barrel throughout the zone and consistently created hard contact. Collected to sharp singles in game action.

Reed Stallman (2021 1B, Robins, IA) Creates solid bat speed working to the pull side of the field. Creates consistent elevated contact and was able to work gap-to-gap throughout the round.

Jalen Martinez (2020 OF, Clive, IA) Smooth hand path with quickness through the zone on a line drive plane. Gap-to-gap approach with present jump consistent squared contact. 

Gable Mitchell (2022 SS, Iowa City, IA) Solid switch hitter able to create hard line drive contact off the barrel from both sides of the plate. Quick and compact barrel path with high end barrel control.
 
Maurice (Mo) Watson (2020 C, Ankeny, IA) Wide stance to start creating some coil at load with explosiveness in the lower half. Solid barrel speed through the zone generating lift out front and utilizing strength well in swing. 

Jackson Wentworth (2021 RHP, Urbandale, IA) Athletic swing with easy repeatability. Longer path but works quickly through the zone controlling the barrel. Works hard line drives consistently to the middle of the field. 

Garrett Kadolph (2022 RHP, Dubuque, IA) Extra large frame utilizing strength well in swing. Swings the bat with intent impacting the baseball. Middle of the field to pull side approach looking to do damage.

Braden Hoyer (2021 LHP, Cedar Rapids, IA) Long and athletic frame with a slightly lifted barrel plane. Impacts the ball with consistency and creates jump with room to continue to improve.

Creighton Kreshel (2020 OF, San Jose, CA) Very mature in the box with an advanced approach. Good mix of barrel skills able to consistently turn the barrel as well as drive the ball with raw power to all fields.  

Joey Little (2022 OF, Hawthorn Woods, IL) Fluid barrel path with loud jump when able to find the sweet spot of the bat. Gap-to-gap contact with a slightly inside hand path.

Will Skjold (2021 C, St. Paul, MN) Naturally lifted bat plane through the zone generating high end bat speed. Really creates lift through contact and has the ability to drive the ball out of the yard with big time power potential.

Ben Sinnott (2020 1B, Waterloo, IA) Large frame with present strength. Raw power potential working contact to the pull side through a fluid stroke. Looks to get the ball in the air and drive into the gap.

Nicholas Rodriguez (2021 3B, Pingree Grove, IL) One of the most consistent rounds of the day hitting hard line drive contact all over the field. Big time contact skills with the ability to work in the occasional drive to the deep parts of the field.

Carter Rohman (2020 SS, Highland, MI) Very solid round with a middle of the field approach and high end ability to manipulate the barrel and work line drives to all fields. Will hit for a solid average at the next level with some power potential moving forward as well.

Wilson Zuck (2021 OF, Appleton, WI) Very high end barrel skills with an all fields approach. Line drive plane through the zone with barrel speed. Was consistent with contact and repeated mechanics with ease.

Adam Casali (2020 C, Verona, WI) Swings with intent on a naturally lofted plane. Gets the barrel through and out in front. Generates lift through contact with a simple and compact stroke. 

Brendan Som (2022 SS, Skokie, IL) Contact oriented approach with a line drive path through the zone. Quick hands staying strong at the point of contact. Able to go to all fields with ease and handles the barrel well. 

Ben Swift (2020 3B, Chesterfield, MO) Elevates contact when able to work out front and to the pull side of the field. Uses the whole field well with a lot of raw power potential moving forward.
