Dylan Elazegui is a 2020 OF/LHP with a 5-8 150 lb. frame from Burr Ridge, IL who attends Hinsdale Central. Compact build with present athleticism. Ran a 7.27 second sixty-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary outfielder. Flashed deliberate actions working to and through the baseball in the outfield. Displayed confident glove actions with clean transfers into throws with good arm strength and accurate carry to the bases topping out at 80 mph from the outfield. Left handed hitter. Employs an upright slightly open stance with a small stride. Flashed a direct barrel path to the baseball with good bat speed and balance through contact. Displayed the ability to drive the baseball to and through the gaps in the outfield when on time and squared. Also pitched at the event. Employs a small side step to belt high leg lift staying slightly flexed at gather going to drop and drive actions down the mound landing online with the plate and staying online with the plate through finish. Showed a long loose arm action going to a three-quarter slot at release. Features a fastball with good control of the zone up to 69 mph complemented with a 1/7 breaking ball with loose spin and shorter depth at 61 mph. Good student.
