Nick Zappia is a 2021 3B/OF with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from Farmington Hills, MI who attends Detroit Catholic Central. Ran a 7.32 second sixty-yard dash. Primary third baseman with a medium frame and slender build that has room to fill out and add strength. Athletic actions in the infield with a good transfer to throw. Winds up with a full arm action and shows best footwork when moving to the glove side. Makes throws across the diamond at 77 miles per hour. Right-handed hitter with a narrow and slightly open stance, shows some smoothness to the swing with developing strength through contact. Has developing bat speed, executing a simple approach through the middle of the field. Good student.
