Will Skjold is a 2021 C/1B, RHP with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from St. Paul, MN who attends Cretin Derham Hall. Ran a 7.87 second sixty-yard dash. Primary catcher with a physical frame, works from a high and even stance, with a quick exchange and 1.97 second pop time. Has some present arm strength, making accurate throws to second base at 75 miles per hour. Has a wide and even stance at the plate, with a short leg lift trigger and naturally lifted barrel plane. Starts with a high back elbow and higher hand set, generating good bat speed with a fluid swing and direct path to contact. Shows present bat speed, generating some lift to the pull side when getting hands extended out front. Secondary right-handed pitcher, starts from the windup with a small side step, staying slightly flexed at gather creating good linear direction with drop and drive actions down the mound. Athletic actions down the mound, with a long and loose arm action from three-quarter slot. Attacks hitters with a heavy fastball that has good down hill plane at 79-to-84 miles per hour. Has good feel to spin a breaking ball with 11-to-5 shape and good depth at 67 miles per hour. Shows the ability to land it in the zone and force early contact.
