Brett Steinke is a 2020 1B/3B with a 6-0 195 lb. frame from Grand Island, NE who attends Northwest. Ran a 7.21 second sixty-yard dash. Primary first baseman with quick feet and an athletic frame that has present strength in the lower half. Funnels out front, staying tall through exchanges and narrow in the feet at times. Comes off the bag well, showing clean feet and a quick pivot to throw. Has developing arm strength, making accurate throws to bases from multiple slots at 68 miles per hour. Has crouched and narrow stance at the plate, starting slightly open with quick leg lift trigger and fast hip fire. Shows some raw strength, with a middle of the field to pull side approach. Has developing feel for the barrel, with a line drive barrel plane and some present power when squared.
