MIDWEST REGION (IL, IN, KY, MI, OH, WI)

The strength of the Midwest All-Region Dream Team definitely lies in their starting rotation, which features four Perfect Game All-Americans plus the top-ranked right-handed pitcher in the 2023 class. There are a number of very talented pitchers waiting in the wings just behind those strong-armed hurlers.

Perennial powerhouse Orchard Lake St. Mary’s (Mich.) is one of five Region teams ranked in the PG High School Top 50 Preseason poll, starting the year at fourth overall. The state of Michigan as a whole has seen a surge in talent the past couple of years and University Liggett HS (No. 41) and Blanc HS (No. 47) join Orchard Lake St. Mary’s in the Top 50.

Another notable ranking in the Region lies right at the top of the 2023 class rankings in Indiana outfielder Maxwell Clark. Clark brings a dynamic blend of athleticism, baseball skills and energy to the baseball field and it will hard to nudge him off the top spot between now and the 2023 draft.
