Miguel Alba (2017 3B, Weston, FL) squared up everything in his round with a loose extended swing that made especially hard contact up the left centerfield gap.

Kyle Khachadourian (2017 LHP, Jupiter, FL) is a primary left handed pitcher but his right handed swing was one of the most powerful of the day.  He has a nice simple swing and big power and blasted a pair of home runs among many very hard hit balls.

Brady McConnell (2017 SS, Merritt Island, FL) looks like he's got stronger and bigger since our last viewing and the result was better bat speed.  He's going to keep getting better and could be a plus power guy in the future.

Jake Lundkovsky (2017 SS, Alpharetta, GA) hits from a spread stance with a very simple and direct shift and swing.  He's aggressive and has bat speed without losing direction towards contact or balance.

Brandon Allen (2017 OF, Taylorsville, GA) is the type of hitter who is so strong that he simply overpowers the ball at times.  A bit more extension in his right handed swing and he could take the next step.

Alex Green (2017 3B, Douglasville, GA) is 6-foot-3, 190-pounds and has lots of leverage at contact, producing hard contact and plenty of power potential.

Raymond Gil (2017 3B, Miami, FL) was another powerful right handed hitter who was "Wall Shopping" but we know the Miami commit has outstanding power and hitting tools even without that approach.

Jeffrey Elkins (2017 OF, Lafayette, LA) swings hard with good bat speed from the right side and consistently drove the ball up both gaps.

Sebastian Szot (2018 RHP, Milton, GA) struck out 4 hitters in his two innings of work topping out at 82 MPH on his fastball.  Szot has good run on his two-seem fastball and is able to mix in a quality breaking ball.

11-Steel vs. 12-White

12/28/2015

Brandon Lee Quinones (2017 OF, Hialeah Gardens, FL) was good for a double down the right field line .  Quinones has an inside out approach with quick hands and solid bat speed.

Zachary Daniels (2017 OF, Stockbridge, GA) led of the 1st with a hard single and added two stolen bases and a run scored on the day.  Daniels barrel is consistently in the zone; he also has great instincts on the base paths and in the field.

Curtis Adcock (2017 C, Johns Creek, GA) tripled to right center field showing raw power and the ability to drive the ball to the opposite field.  Adcock has a gap to gap approach and present strength in frame.

Michael Jimenez (2017 RHP, Ocala, FL) showed very projectable stuff on the mound sitting 84-86 MPH with his fastball to go with a sharp breaking ball and solid changeup.   Jimenez has a very quick arm throwing from a high 3/4 to over the top arm slot with loose arm action.

7-Orange vs. 8-Purple

12/28/2015

Julio Cortez Sanz (2018 C, Weston, FL) showed nice present bat speed and strength off the barrel on the double he connected for in his first at-bat. He has a strong frame and showed quick hands in his righthanded stroke.

Jacob Cabe (2018 MIF, Milton, GA) and Anthony Seigler (2018 C, Cartersville, GA) both showed off sound lefthanded swings through their first content. Cabe did a nice job of sitting back on a curveball and shot it through the left side. Seigler connected for a line drive single into left center field and also showed a strong arm from behind the plate with good carry and accuracy.

Levin Lackey (2017 3B, Grovetown, GA) also showed quick hands and strength with a single in his first at-bat. He also showed well defensively at third base showing sound actions with good arm strength across the diamond and quick feet moving to the ball.

Thomas Girard (2017 RHP, Simsbury, CT) came out attacking on the moudn with his fastball that topped out at 85 mph and sat consistently in the 81-85 mph range. His arm action is short and quick and he showed the ability to miss bats while also mixing in a slider up to 75 mph.

Kel Bordwine (2017 RHP, Cypress, TX) did a nice job of getting on top of his fastball and topped out at 84 mph. The ball leaves his hand cleanly and showed short running life while mixing in a changeup at 75 mph that features nice fade to the bottom of the zone.

Riley Davis (2017 RHP, Helena, AL) also ran his fastball up to 85 mph and did so with a fast arm action and a lower arm slot. When he stayed on top he was able to generate heavy life to the bottom of the zone and did a nice job of filling up the strike zone with his heater while flashing at slider up to 72 mph. He also had a two hit day for the Purple squad as he singled in each of his two at-bats to begin his showcase.
