Jason Thomas is a 2018 OF with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Miramar, FL who attends Barbara Goleman HS. Medium athletic build, has some compact strength. Quick twitch player, 6.58 runner with a quick first step. Right handed hitter, lead off approach at the plate, will take pitches and work counts, hits from a spread bent knee stance with some drift to his front side, has quick hands and a short swing, hits the ball out front and looking to make pull line drive contact. Second base look and profile and has a short, compact arm action in the outfield, young outfield footwork at present but overcomes it with athleticism and speed, makes accurate throws.
