2022 Top Prospects

Andre Hyrkin  OF - 2022 - Palo Alto, CA
Uncommitted

Hyrkin had a good showing over the weekend with present athleticism and a well-rounded skill set. There's quickness to his arm stroke with some actions in the infield and impressed offensively with quickness to his hands, that are in a good launch position, with projectable power and took good game hacks.

2023 Top Prospects

Owen Egan  OF - 2023 - Yucaipa, CA
UCLA

Egan showed off all of his tools throughout the weekend, running a 7.18 60-yard dash before throwing an event best 88 mph from the outfield. He continued to impress both during his batting practice and live at-bats with hard, well-struck contact and plenty of jump off the barrel.

Dean West  OF - 2023 - Woodland Hills, CA
UCLA

West is full of quick-twitch muscle and he put that on display immediately by running an event best 6.97 60-yard dash. He's a lefthanded hitter and possesses quick hands and wrists, showing the ability to impact the baseball with consistent jump off the barrel to his pull side.

Manoah Chapman  SS - 2023 - Chula Vista, CA
San Diego State

Chapman showed some of the better defensive actions up the middle with smoothness and fluidity, actions that transferred over well into live action with a nice sliding play in the hole. He also handled the barrel nicely with hard line drive contact, consistently squaring the ball up throughout the event.

Frank Estrada  SS - 2023 - Jurupa Valley, CA
Cal State Fullerton

Estrada offers plenty of physical projection with his 5-foot-11, 145-pound frame but he already shows some of the quicker hands offensively amongst those in attendance. His swing is a short one and he found the barrel well with occasional lift and jump coming off the barrel.

Zach Wadas  1B - 2023 - Phoenix, AZ
TCU

Wadas showed some of the better offensive set of skills with impressive bat speed and very quick hands. He's athletic with a very projectable, lean frame and lots of room to add strength. He performed well in game too showing impressive leverage and present power with multiple extra base hits that one-hopped the right field wall.

Lucas Casey  OF - 2023 - Oro Valley, AZ
Cal State Northridge

Casey showed plenty of things to like from the righthanded batter's box throughout the weekend, both in his live at-bats and during his round of BP. The California native shows nice balance in the box and stays through the ball well, showing nice extension out front with steady line drive contact.

Gavin Eddy  RHP - 2023 - Claremont, CA
California

Eddy was extremely efficient over the course of three innings as he filled up the strike zone and showed advanced feel for a firm changeup. He worked up to 78 mph with the ability to get to both sides of the plate with intent while he would throw his sinking changeup to both righthanded and lefthanded hitters to generate whiffs.

Carter Elliott  RHP - 2023 - Yucaipa, CA
Saddleback College

A primary first baseman, Carter Elliott showed off two-way potential as he also jumped on the mound and ran his fastball up to 81 mph with a nice curveball as well. His righthanded swing might be his best tool though as he shows a direct path with quick hands and a repeatable stroke.

Aidan Espinoza  OF - 2023 - Huntington Beach, CA
UCLA

Espinoza looks the part in the batter's box with looseness to his hands and good amount of loft to the swing path. He projects for big power at physical maturity and performed well in games. His arm strength was recorded up to 80 mph and he looked good on the mound with an upper-70s fastball and a whippy arm.

Paxton Fenberg  RHP - 2023 - Kirkland, WA
Gonzaga

Fenberg made the trip from Washington down to California for the weekend and impressed during the event. He's a primary shortstop who showed slick skills up the middle but also jumped on the mound and topped out at 85 mph with his fastball, showing a quick arm with a feel for his breaker.

Grant Govel  OF - 2023 - Rolling Hills Estates, CA
Southern California

Govel has good feel on the field and uses that to his advantage while working in the batter's box and in the field. He was consistently in the upper-70s during drills showing good accuracy from both the outfield and infield while showing good hands in the box with present power and impressive exit velocity mark as well for a young prospect.

Isaiah Martinez  LHP - 2023 - Chula Vista, CA
Uncommitted

Martinez showed off two-way potential of his own this weekend in California, jumping on the mound where he ran his fastball up to 79 mph while mixing in a nice curveball. His lefthanded swing shows both balance and the ability to repeat his path with barreled contact to all fields.

Maddox Molony  SS - 2023 - Springfield, OR
Oregon

Molony showed pretty good two-way potential with a very projectable frame and advanced athleticism. Molony has smooth, fluid actions to go along with quickness to his hands and a naturally lofted swing plane. There's good potential on the mound too with a very easy operation and a fastball that topped out at 80 mph.

Ethan Winslow  OF - 2023 - Kingsburg, CA
Uncommitted

Winslow showed good tools on bot sides of the ball highlighted by a quick release behind the plate and backstop along with good offensive tools. He popped a 2.08 second pop time along with a quick arm that was recorded up to 68 mph. There's good present strength off the barrel with flashes of barrel whip and he projects well.

2024 Top Prospects

Miles Ghossein  SS - 2024 - Dallas, TX
Uncommitted

Ghossein didn't look out of place at all last weekend as one of the younger prospects in attendance showed some very interesting skills. With a 6-foot, 155-pound frame he has tons of remaining physical projection and really showed off the barrel skills and consistently hit the ball hard while also showing his two-way potential on the mound.

Zachary Bethell  C - 2024 - Hampstead, NC
Uncommitted

Bethell was very impressive over the weekend showing advanced present skills while also showing a potentially very high ceiling on the mound. He has a long, whippy arm action with a good breaking ball and offensively he has a clean swing path with a feel for using the whole field while he was also up to 82 mph from the outfield during drills to show off the arm.
