Zachary Bethell is a 2024 C/RHP, 3B, OF with a 5-9 135 lb. frame from Lake Elsinore, CA who attends Vista Murrieta HS. Recorded a 7.62 second 60-yard dash time. Lean medium frame with very long limbs and tons of room to fill. Primary catcher with a short and compact arm stroke. Gains subtle ground with a three-quarters arm slot. Good footwork and has some feel for the position with a best recorded pop time of 2.00 seconds. Arm strength played very well from the outfield with looseness and recorded up to 82 mph. Secondary righthanded pitcher with a long arm stroke and lots of looseness and whip. Drops and drives off lower half with some effort at release. Manipulates shape of the breaking ball with intent. The fastball gets on hitters quick and was up to 77 mph and the breaking ball is a difference maker. Lefthanded hitter with an open stance, a bent knee stance, and looseness to his hands. Quick bat with a linear plane and works well to the middle of the field. Hands work well and can keep them inside the baseball. Good student. Named to the 2019 14u West Top Prospect List.
