Steven Loden (2019 3B, Lower Gwynedd, PA) Collected two hits in the game. A single and a long homerun pulled over the right field fence. Good bat speed ad show some power to the pull side.

John Barrie (2019 C, Sterling, VA) Good gap to gap approach driving a double into the left center gap. Also pitched three innings giving up just two hits and striking out five. Fastball topped at 72. Curveball at 53 and change at 66.

Jonathan Giordano (2019 RHP, Toms River, NJ) Had two hits the in the game, the first a single the first a soft liner. The second was a double that scored a run. Good ability to make contact in each at-bat.

Ryan Ditrolio (2019 OF, Succasunna, NJ) Two hits including a single and a hard hit double to left field. Swung the bat with intent and was aggressive at the plate.

Nathan Goranson (2020 C, Millville, NJ) Had three hits in his four at-bats in the game all singles. Hit the ball hard each at-bat keeping the ball on a line.

#10 Orange- O’Kelly McWilliams IV (2019 Flint Hill, VA) - Up to 81 and sitting at 80 mph on the mound throwing from a 3/4 arm slot and natural sink on his fastball.  Filling up the zone with strikes and finished the day with 7 strikeouts.  Showed athleticism in his delivery and a fluid and clean arm action.

 #9 Steel- Liam Smith (2020 Hillsborough, NJ)- Feel for the mound, had a three pitch mix that could all be thrown for strikes.  Changeup is his go to pitch which had late drop and missed barrels.  Threw 4 innings with 6 K's

 #14 Orange- Khaleil Blanding (2020, Muhlenberg, PA)  - short and compact swing, some pop in the bat and loud contact in game.  Also hit the ball hard up the middle and opposite field.

#13 Steel - Jack Winsett (2019, Cherry Hill, NJ) - sneaky fastball jumping on hitters from his 3/4 arm slot.  Also featured a curveball that was sharp and had depth.  

#6 Steel - Aiden McDaniel (2019, West Milford, NJ) - singled his first at bat and lined out later in the game. Very loose swing and quick bat, has an approach and feel at the plate. 

#6 Orange- Jack Hurley (2020, State College, PA) - in the field, showed off a very strong arm with excellent carry.  He's an athlete, runs well and moves well.  Also had a hard base hit to the pull side, fluid lefty swing.

#3 Steel - Ethan Gabor (2019, Fox Lane, NY) - one of the hardest hit balls of the game, smacked a double to left field wall.  level bat plane and quick hands

Tyler Demartino (2019 OF, Potomac, MD) Collected a single in the game and a double. Uses a compact line drive swing. Has good pop with room to develop even more. Makes loud contact

Gavin McGowan (2020 RHP, Sugarloaf, PA) Had a single in the game along with a double. Has a line drive swing plane and makes good contact controlling the barrel of the bat.

Brett Swift (2019 3B, Salisbury, MD) Had a couple hard hit singles in the game. Big strong body and has a strong swing. Made loud contact all game.

Corey Leadenham (2019 SS, Virginia Beach, VA) Had a couple singles in the game and reached a third time. Uses a line drive path. Also threw a couple solid innings with five strikeouts. Fastball was up to 82 and curveball at 64 with command of both.

Christian Maceda (2019 OF, Oradell, NJ) Showed a quick bat and a strong top hand driving a ball to right center field for a triple. Has great speed around the bases.

Pat McDonough (2019 3B, West Chester, PA) Two singles in the game. Has an uppercut type swing looking to elevate. Was good on the bases getting himself into positions to score and came around twice. Also pitched three innings and struck out seven batters. Fastball up to 76. Good curveball at 61 and a slider at 65

Lucas Bires (2019 SS, Alexandria, VA) Had two hits in the game. A single and a double into right field. Uses an inside out swing keeping his hands tight able to shoot the ball the other way.

Noah Cabassa (2019 C, Pomona, NY) Collected a couple of singles in the game including an RBI single to right center field. Has a line dive bat path with quick hands.

Justin Carboni (2019 OF, Bethesda, MD) Showed good lift through the ball. Able to carry one over the left field wall for a hard hit homerun.

Scott Shaw (2019 OF, Cherry Hill, NJ) Allowed two hits in three innings pitched. Struck out six batters. Fastball topped at 77. Good curveball at 66 and a changeup at 71

Royal vs Red Game Highlights

Erik Ruch (2019 RHP, Downingtown, PA) Pull side approach and looked to drive the ball hard. Had a hard hit double and would later come around to score.

Andrew Bott (2020 3B, Woolwich Township, NJ) Good barrel turn and ability to shift into contact. Hit a hard double down the third base line.

Alex Kubishin (2020 RHP, Drums, PA) Allowed just two hits in his three innings of work. Uses a long loose arm action that projects well. Keeps his fastball down in the zone at 77. Smooth and effortless delivery. Curveball at 67.

Will Hart (2019 OF, Madison, NJ) Just one hit in his two innings. Struck out five of six batters. Fastball showed good run at 79. Ball seemed to jump out of the hand with room to increase velocity. Curveball showed some late life.

Alex Amentler (2019 OF, Drums, PA) No hits allowed in his inning. Over the top with his arm and went all out delivery his fastball at 75. Curveball showed the chance to be a solid secondary pitch with good depth at 66.

Kenneth Rodriguez (2019 RHP, Bronx, NY) Showed great strength driving a ball deep into the left center gap for a long triple. Also pitched giving up ust two hits in three innings. Fastball had good run at 77 and flashed a cutter as well with late movement. Curveball with depth at 71.

Peter Heubeck (2021 C, Baltimore, MD) Just one hit in two innings on the mound. Long body and limbs that projects well. Fills the zone with fastball at 77. Good command of curveball as well at 64. Also had a hard hit double into the left center gap.

Corey Leadenham (2019 SS, Virginia Beach, VA): Leadenham showed quick hands throughout his swing, getting on plane well and consistently making barreled contact to all parts of the field.

Justin Carboni (2019 OF, Bethesda, MD): Carboni does a good job loading onto his backside in his load, and then shifting his weight well into contact, generating big jump off the barrel with consistency.

Kevin Small (2020 1B, Downingtown, PA): Small is a physically strong prospect especially for his age; shows that strength in his swing at times with occasional power to the pull field. 

Peter Heubeck (2021 C, Baltimore, MD): Heubeck showed really nice ability to control the barrel for a 2021; really doing a nice job making barreled line drive contact up the middle consistently. 

Kenneth Rodriguez (2019 RHP, Bronx, NY): Rodriguez showed big time strength and bat speed with a swing geared strictly for power. When on time and on plane, he drove it deep to the pull field.

Michael Campbell (2019 SS, Larchmont, NY): Campbell showed a knack for putting barrel to baseball, with a clean launch and quick hands, and should drive the ball more with increased strength. 

Tyler Demartino (2019 OF, Potomac, MD): Demartino took an extremely impressive round; consistently getting leveraged and driving the ball deep into both gaps with legitimate bat speed and carry. 

Michael Baginski (2020 1B, Millville, NJ): Baginski showed a quality contact-driven approach to the middle of the field; then opened it up and started driving the ball into both gaps with big carry.

Will Hart (2019 OF, Madison, NJ): Hart gets on a nicely-lofted swing plane with clean, quick hands; showing the ability to drive the ball on a line.

Paul Moore (2019 OF, Ashburn, VA): Moore showed some of the best raw power of the event; consistently creating leverage off of his front side and getting the ball into the air with impressive jump and carry. 

Alex Amentler (2019 OF, Drums, PA): Amentler shows a good, linear lower half in his swing with a line drive swing plane that covers the plate well and creates hard liners. 

Amon Johnson (2020 C, McClean, VA): Johnson is extremely strong, physically; and that strength can show up in his swing, where he has a simple approach with lots of power when squared up.

Ethan Gabor (2019 OF, Bedford, NY): Gabor generates high quality bat speed through the zone; and stays on plane through extension, flashing barrel skills to all fields with good jump off the bat.

Marcus Smith (2021 SS, New York, NY): Smith showed off very good balance and barrel feel, consistently able to move the bat around the zone to get barrel on the ball and consistently hit well-struck liners. 

Michael Rosen (2019 1B, Ellicott City, MD): Rosen shows good physicality in his body and in his swing; showing the ability to drive the ball relatively deep into the left center field gap with good carry. 

Jack Hurley (2020 OF, Boalsburg, PA): Hurley does a very good job creating separation and barrel whip through the zone, showing legitimate bat speed on a line drive plane and driving the ball on a line to all fields.

Steven Loden (2019 3B, Lower Gwynedd, PA): Loden generates excellent leverage off of his front side and gets the barrel out with excellent strength; driving the ball with impressive power to the pull field. 

Harry Padden (2019 SS, Elmer, NJ): Padden showed very good bat speed on a line drive swing plane, peppering the cage with firm liners and then showing he could work to all fields as well. 

Arthur Long (2019 RHP, Pelham, NY): Very strong prospect whose strength shows up in his swing, showing the ability to jump the ball into the gaps with good carry.  

Maroon vs Royal Game Highlights

Michael Campbell (2019 SS, Larchmont, NY) Short compact swing with a line drive bat path. Hit a hard double that one hopped the fence.

Tyler Demartino (2019 OF, Potomac, MD) Showed really good bat speed and some great strength driving a ball hard that left the field in a hurry for a homerun.

Willie Schwarick (2020 C, Flanders, NJ) Had two hits including a double driven out to left center field. Good gap to gap drive and uses the lower half well with good rotation.

Michael Baginski (2020 1B, Millville, NJ) Has some good bat speed  and looks to go pull side. Had two hits in the game to the left side of the field.

Andrew Bott (2020 3B, Woolwich Township, NJ) Really strong swing and looks to elevate the ball with authority. Hit a monster homerun in the game.

Ryan Jacobs (2019 LHP, Harrisburg, PA) Hit a hard line drive that hit the top of the fence in the air. Uses his legs well to develop good drive. Has a lot of natural strength when lifting the ball.

Gold vs Red Game Highlights

Lucas Bires (2019 SS, Alexandria, VA) Collected two hits in the game. Hit the ball hard for a line drive single up the middle. Also had another hard hit single and later scoring.

Noah Cabassa (2019 C, Pomona, NY) Reached base four times in the game with three singles. Put together quality at-bats throughout the game. Quick bat speed and an easy smooth bat path. Was also good on the bases stealing a couple bags.

Riley Leadenham (2019 2B, Virginia Beach, VA) Used an up the middle approach. Hit an infield single and also had another single later in the game.

Christian Maceda (2019 OF, Oradell, NJ) Showed some great absolute power. Hit a line drive in the game that banged off the wall on the fly for a loud double. Good projectable frame with solid strength.

Joe Morin (2019 RHP, Paramus, NJ) Surrendered just one hit in his four innings of work. Got a lot of weak contact keeping the ball in the infield when hitters made contact. Struck out seven of his twelve outs. Has a live arm with run on his fastball that topped at 83. Good curveball at 70 that is already a good strikeout pitch with room to get even better.

Justin Cruz (2020 OF, Springfield, MA) No hits in his two innings on the mound. Has a smooth delivery that is easily repeated. Uses an up-tempo pace that doesn't let the batters get comfortable. Some good run to his fastball at 80. Sat at 69 with his good secondary curveball.



Navy vs Steel Game Highlights

8/19/2017

Jose Fabre (2019 SS, Perth Amboy, NJ) Had one single, beating out a ground ball to shortstop, showing good speed. Has solid defensive skills, great hands, into a fast transfer and strong arm.

Kyle Beach (2020 1B, Lumberton, NJ) Pull side approach with good ability to turn barrel. Two singles that were hit hard into left field, scoring a run. Smart on the bases, taking an extra bag a couple of times.

Spencer Margulis (2019 C, Lincroft, NJ) Good lift through contact on a strong quick swing. Drove a high deep double to left field. Also single into left field. 

Marcus Smith (2021 SS, New York, NY) Drove the ball hard in all his at-bats. Look to elevate the ball and use his strength to drive it deep. Hit a long double into left field. Would also fly out on a hard hit ball deep in the outfield.

Jonathan Giordano (2019 RHP, Toms River, NJ) Hid the ball well from the batters, making his fastball/curveball combo deceptive. Used quick arm speed to deliver his fastball up to 84. Curveball with good movement at 69.

Kyle Gordon (2019 SS, New York, NY) Was aggressive at the plate with good bat speed. Smoked two balls hard in the game while notching 3 hits for the day.

Jordan Gray (2020 RHP, Deptford, NJ) Keeps his hands in tight with and inside swing looking to drive the ball middle away. Collected two hits including a 2 RBI single.

Michael Rosen (2019 1B, Ellicott City, MD) Has a tall lean frame that he uses to control the bat and reach all parts of the plate. He drove a hard double and a single in the game. Has an aggressive lower half with good rotation getting some pop. 

Dylan Ducharme (2021 OF, Collegeville, PA) Has good bad speed and some solid strength to his frame. Hammered a ball into center field that had a very loud contact off the barrel. Collected another single in the game
