Ramon Cordero (2018 C, Venice, FL)  had a perfect game collecting two hits in two trips, both singles. He showed an ability to drive the ball to the opposite field, displaying consistent hard contact. His althetic ability and speed helped him collect an infield single and record a stolen base in the same inning.

Nelson Graveran (2018 SS, Southwest Ranches, FL)
had a really solid game going 2 for 2 with a single through the left side and a double to the opposite field gap. He produced with 3 RBI's on the day, while also swiping a base. Nelson has a quiet swing with minimal movement which helps him stay short to the ball.
Robert Payton Whitaker (2018 OF, Cocoa Beach, FL) showed he could hit the ball to all fields, while consistently making solid contact. A solid athlete with good present strength, he lead off the 5th inning with a double down the left field line.
Brant Brown (2018 RHP, Venice, FL) had a day to remember as he cruised through four innings of work, recording seven punchouts. In fact, Brant was perfect through his four innings of work as he did not allow any hits, runs, or walks during his outing. He featured a good fastball topping out at 89MPH, while showing a good change of speeds with his 77MPH changeup and 75MPH curveball.

Dalton Plattner (2018 LHP, Sarasota, FL) is a tall, lengthy, lefty, very long arms, High Leg Kick, Mid /Low ¾ arm slot, drops down and comes in from the side, gains ground with front leg and throws cross body.  Fast Ball has a little arm side run to it. Flashed a change up, kept same speed and motion. Very good pick off move to first base.  Very effective with strikes, kept it around the plate, mixed it well.

Warren Sammons (2018 C, Spring, TX)
 showed us his defensive skills behind the plate. Sammons stood out in the field from his ability to throw out runners, to his pitch calling sequence.

Nelson Graveran (2018 SS, Southwest Ranches, FL) 
has the instincts to be your middle infielder. Nelson also shows a patient approach at the plate without letting himself fall behind in the count too often. 

Columbia Blue vs Black Highlights

Marcos Roque (2018 3B, Orlando, FL) showed off a balanced swing at the plate going one for two with a line drive single up the middle. He also displayed good instincts on the bases with a stolen base.

Tyler Zayas (2018 SS, Pembroke Pines, FL) 
has a smooth swing and uses his lower half well at the plate. He went one for two with a line drive single to right field, with a run scored and showed off good athleticism collecting a stolen base.

Robert Payton Whitaker (2018 OF, Cocoa Beach, FL) displayed a nice balanced swing at the plate with good contact to the opposite field collecting a line drive single in the game. He also showed aggressiveness on the bases.

Peyton Bourque (2018 RHP, North Fort Myers, FL) had four solid innings of work on the bump punching out three hitters. He displayed a balanced delivery with a mid 3/4 arm slot and stayed in sync throughout his outing. Peyton was consistently hitting his spots with his heavy fastball, which topped out at 84 MPH and mixed his pitches well, flashing a curveball at 71 MPH that had good bite.

Robert Wegielnik (2018 RHP, Fort Myers, FL) turned in three scoreless innings to go along with a fastball that topped out at 87 mph. Wegielnik worked with a good tempo, struck out seven batters, and showed the ability to manipulate spin well utilizing both a curveball and slider. 

Matt Voda (2018 LHP, Spring Hill, FL) worked up to 87 mph during his two innings and only allowed one hit. Voda creates good angle with his fastball and showed quality deception as he hid the ball well. 

Gustavo Lino (2018 OF, Coral Springs, FL) impressed in his one inning of work. He filled up the strike zone with his fastball that had good plane while mixing in a tight spinning 11/5 breaking ball. 

Chase Barrett (2018 RHP, Miami, FL) showed the ability to limit hard contact and induce a lot of weakly hit balls. Barrett showed late life to his fastball while also throwing his breaking ball for strikes.

Tyler Walker (2018 SS, Greenacres, FL) went 1-1 in the game with a double to the right center gap. Walker showed a patient approach at the plate with a good overall feel for hitting. Tyler also showed the ability to go with the pitch. 

Dylan Kelley (2018 RHP, Branford, FL) threw 4 innings allowing only 3 hits with 1 run while striking out 8. Kelley showed good command in his outing with the ability to keep the ball down. Dylan has a good build and showed repeatable mechanics. 

Matt Voda (2018 LHP, Spring Hill, FL) tossed 1 inning of no hit ball while striking out the side. Voda repeats his delivery well with good downhill action. Matt's Fastball showed some armside run along with some life through the zone. 

Trevor Hollis (2018 RHP, Wellington, FL) threw 3 innings in the game today allowing 3 hits with no runs while striking out 3. Hollis showed a clean delivery along with a clean arm action. Trevor showed good command with his fastball that also showed some arm side run.

Kenen Irizarry (2018 SS, Guanica, PR) went 1-2 in the game today with a ground rule double to Right Field. Kenan shows some power potential at the plate. Irizarry showed good actions at shortstop along with a strong arm.

Tyler Zayas (2018 SS, Pembroke Pines, FL)
had a 2-2 day at the plate with two singles to Right Field. Zayas showed a oppo approach all game and had no issues going with the pitch. Tyler showed a quick flat bat at the plate and good patience. 

Aramis Cruz (2018 OF, Orlando, FL)
was 1-1 in the game with a line drive triple into the Left Center gap. Cruz showed good  bat speed in the game with some definite power potential. 

Florida Top Batting Practice Highlights

Marcos Roque (2018 3B, Orlando, FL) stands spread open at the plate and showed some good bat speed upon the swing. The load was simple and elastic to go along with good fluidity and natural loft. 

Peyton Bourque (2018 RHP, North Fort Myers, FL) strode well into contact and was looking to elevate pitches. He showed good pop to the pull side of the field and extends well through the point of contact where he can create good leverage to the pull side. 

Omar Baldo (2018 C, Homestead, FL) showed good tools from both sides of the plate. The switch hitter showed good bat speed and a gap-to-gap approach with good jump off the barrel. 

Kenen Irizarry (2018 SS, Guanica, PR) worked with a good tempo and rhythm through contact while showing off a simple, repeatable swing. Irizarry showed good feel for the barrel of the bat along with a sound line drive-oriented approach. 

Nelson Graveran (2018 SS, Southwest Ranches, FL)
has a quick leg lift trigger into his swing that helps highlight his quick hands and ability to stay on plane. Graveran gets some jump off the barrel and showed the ability to hit hard hit line drives to all fields. 

Kaeber Rog (2018 SS, Boynton Beach, FL) was another switch-hitter with a simple, fluid swing from both sides. Rog showed explosive bat speed with a direct hand path to the ball and intriguing power potential. 

Nick Perez (2018 1B, Delray Beach, FL) stands spread open at the plate with a quick, easy trigger into the swing. Perez showed a nice, fluid swing with good pop and jump to the pull side.
