Caleb Thompson (2017 OF, Houston, TX) showed good athleticism and quick hands at the plate, everything seemed to come hard off the barrel.
Alejandro Amador (2017 SS, Spring, TX) had two base hits on the day. Amador showed good pull side pop hitting the ball hard to the left side all day.
Justin Collins (2017 LHP, Magnolia, TX) had two hits keeping it very simple at the plate, looking to take pitches back up the middle and opposite field on a consistent basis.
Jack Kirksey (2018 2B, Beaumont, TX) has some quickness and barrel turn showing ability to hit the baseball to pull side.
Tristan McCraw (2017 RHP, Magnolia, TX) was up to 85 mph today on the mound, showing quick arm speed and good glove side mechanics.
Mason Moszkowicz (2017 LHP, Spring, TX) produced one of the more efficient outings of the day throwing strikes and going right after hitters, was also up to 82 mph with his fastball.
Dillon Nesbit (2017 C, Spring, TX) closed out the game at 86 mph with good heaviness and wiggle on his fastball. He also had two hits at the plate making consistent contact with the baseball.
Marcos Castillo (2017 OF, Round Rock, TX) tripled in his last at bat to right-center field. He has natural lift through the point of contact and solid pop of the barrel.
Antonio Lorenzo Gauthier (2018 3B, Lake Charles, LA) showed quick twitch athleticism and speed in everything he did. He was almost impossible to stop on the base paths, and put constant pressure on the defense at the plate.
Hartman Holmes (2017 SS, Baton Rouge, LA) doubled in his last at bat also showing some pull side pop from the left side of the plate.
Steven Whitney (2017 RHP, Dickinson, TX) was up to 84 mph with a three pitch mix, striking out six hitters in his three innings of work.
South Uncommitted BP Highlights

Antonio Lorenzo Gauthier (2018 3B, Lake Charles, LA) is a 2018 uncommitted but his hit tool graded out the best of any player at the overall 11-team event. He's only 5-7 but it's a very solidly put together 170 pounds and his outstanding lower half use created big left handed bat speed and consistent hard line drive gap to gap contact.
Brandon Holdren (2017 3B, Baytown, TX) has a nice low tension swing with good bat speed and his mechanics are easy to repeat. He squared the ball up hard with some jump on it the entire round.
Ryan Tackett (2017 1B, Spring, TX) is an impressive athlete at 6-3/215 with sub-7.0 second speed but he's also a switch hitter and that strength translates well into bat speed. His shift and balance from both sides can improve but his has impressive raw bat speed and power potential, especially from the left side.
Jackson Tylman (2017 C, San Antonio, TX) has the strength and bat speed to hit with big power with some adjustments to his pre-swing set up. It will be interesting to see how he swings it in the games.
Kendall Price (2017 C, Forney, TX) and Charles Rowell (2017 C, Magnolia, TX) are similar hitting prospects with good present strength and a simple approach that allows them to square up the ball consistently and should adjust well to next level velocity. The fact that they are both catchers is certainly a bonus for college coaches looking for that valuable position.

Nick Barnes (2017 RHP, Katy, TX) has a strong look and pounded zone consistently with his fastball that sat in the 84-87 range topping at 88.
Benjamin Miller (2017 RHP, Lewisville, TX) was up to 82 with his fastball that sowed life down in the zone.
Cole Godkin (2017 RHP, Porter, TX) has a long lean build with good projection in body, was up to 84 with his fastball .
Brice Armistead (2017 LHP, Katy, TX) showed upside and ability to miss barrels when in zone, he topped at 85 with his fastball.
Brandon Holdren (2017 3B, Baytown, TX) showed great command of his fastball that topped at 80. He struck out 3 batters in his inning of work.
Jaivion Scott (2017 OF, Houston, TX) has an athletic build, shows good bat speed and barrel control, he had two hits on the day.
Ryan Tackett (2017 1B, Spring, TX) has a strong athletic build. Showed good power with an aggressive approach. He had two hits including a triple.
Ramiro Ramirez (2017 2B, Corpus Christi, TX) has a short quick swing and collected two hits on the day.
Eric Cervantes (2017 C, San Antonio, TX) has solid barrel control and a line drive swing plane. He had two hits on the day including a double.
Tyler Kastner (2017 LHP, Temple, TX) stays inside the ball well and collected two hits.
Charles Rowell (2017 C, Magnolia, TX) makes solid contact with good bat control, he also had two hits on the day.
