Boston Smith (2021 C, Vandalia, OH) took one of the most impressive batting practices you'll see at a PG showcase, launching 4-5 bombs and some other line drive missiles with easy plus left-handed bat speed. He is a Cincinnati commit.

Julius Scearce (2021 SS, Lexington, KY) is a 6-2/180 left-handed hitting Kentucky commit with one of those swings that just consistently squares up the baseball.  He stays on top of the ball well and repeats his timing like a player with countless repetitions.

Korbyn Dickerson (2022 OF, Jeffersonville, IN) is a young Louisville commit with a very loose and athletic 6-1/170 build.  He has a loose and tension free swing that has some length but also has plenty of whip and he created plenty of carry, especially to right centerfield.

Al Holguin (2021 1B, Chicago, IL) is a very strong 6-2/210 left handed hitter with a very interesting combination of strength, raw bat speed and power approach to his swing. 

Colby Guy (2021 SS, Charlotte, NC) is a quick twitch athlete with very fast hands from the right side of the plate.  He projects very well as he continues to add strength to his slender 150 pound build.

Aaron Saltsman (2021 OF, Rockledge, FL) has about as simple and direct approach as you will see in a hitter, helped significantly by his very fast hands.  He creates plus bat speed and showed his power to the pull side well.

Gunner Aldridge (2021 2B, Lake Orion, MI) has a smooth left handed swing and projects plenty of power in his 6-1/160 frame.  One of the keys to his development will be learning to get his front foot down in time to help him create leverage and additional bat speed.

Brett Denby (2023 SS, Sellersburg, IN) is a very athletic young player with good present bat speed and a strong pull side approach.

Alexander Diaz (2021 SS, Brooklyn, NY) most impressive hitting tool is that he squares up the ball almost every swing.  He did this during batting practice and did the same thing during the game.  His swing is exceptionally simple and repeatable.

Stephen Katch (2023 3B, Lancaster, PA) stood out for his power potential for a 2023, with a strong and well build 6-0/190 frame.  He swings hard and creates bat speed and lift, especially when he waits back on the ball.

Judah Miller (2023 SS, Halifax, PA) Showed good bat speed through the zone with strength at contact. Doubled in his second at bat of the game.

Lucas Moore (2023 OF, West Chester, OH) Showed a balanced swing with good hand speed to contact. Created solid barrel while collecting two hits in game action including a triple.

Boston Smith (2021 C, Vandalia, OH) Utilized an aggressive approach while at the plate and utilized his lower half well. Had two hits in game action including a double in his first at bat.

Alexander Wright (2022 3B, Indianapolis, IN) Utilized a smooth, repeatable swing plane with present bat speed. Created good jump off the barrel when squared an picked up two hits in game action.

Davis Johnson (2022 2B, Lexington, KY) Showed a clean, repeatable line drive barrel plane with a mid field approach. Displayed a knack for finding the barrel collecting two hits.

Colby Guy (2021 SS, Charlotte, NC) Guy showed a very quick arm through extension producing a heavy fastball up to 87 mph. Also flashed good feel for a breaking ball in the low 70's.

Al Holguin (2021 1B, Chicago, IL) Created good downhill plane with his fastball flashing occasional run to arm side up to 85 mph. Also impressed at the plate showing a naturally leveraged swing plane that produce easy jump off the barrel.

Diego DeCello (2023 C, Hamilton, OH) Utilized a balanced swing with a high contact approach. Consistently put the ball in play and proved to be a tough out. Collected two hits in game action.

AJ Ewing (2023 SS, Springboro, OH) The 2023 grad showed an athletic swing with  present  bat speed. Consistently looked to work the middle of  the field and showed good feel for the barrel. Collected two hits in three trips to the plate.

Cameron Gilkerson (2023 OF, Hilliard, OH) Showed good strength and bat speed through the zone. Ball jumps off the barrel with authority when squared. 

AJ Martin (2022 2B, Olney, MD) Displayed good plate discipline with a balance approach. Utilized a line drive barrel plane through extension with the ability to work to both outfield gaps. 

Trevor Wilson (2022 RHP, Hebron, KY) The 2022 grad struck out five batters over three innings of work featuring a fastball that topped at 85 mph. Wilson showed the ability to work to both edges of the plate with his fastball and looked to change speed with a breaking ball in the low 70's.

Jarrod Mays (2023 C, Xenia, OH) Displayed a line drive barrel plane with present bat speed. Throws hands well to the baseball and generated solid contact often. Collected two hits in game action including a double in his last at-babt.

James Jett (2020 OF, Louisville, KY) Jett continued to show his maturity at the plate picking up three more hits. The 2020 grad shows good feel for the barrel throughout the zone with the ability to hit to all fields.

Jack Vallario (2022 SS, Dix Hills, NY) The New York native utilized a quiet, calm approach at the plate but flashed present strength at contact when squared. Created good jump off the barrel with tight backspin when squared. Doubled twice in game action in four trips to the plate.

Brett Denby (2023 SS, Sellersburg, IN) The 2023 grad showed solid potential on the mound featuring a fastball that run up to 84 mph. The Indiana native looked to attack hitters and flashed the ability to work his fastball to each edge of the plate. Also flashed good spin with a slider in the mid 70's.

Alexander Diaz (2021 SS, Brooklyn, NY) Showed good plate disciple through his at bats with a knack for finding the barrel. The 2021 grad also created good jump when squared doubling in his last at bat of the game.

Charlie Eberle (2022 1B, Pittsburgh, PA) Utilized a simple, balanced approach with a linear barrel plane through extension. Showed the ability to keep his hands inside the baseball at contact allowing for good control of the barrel. Collected two base hits in three trips to the plate.

Jake VanBooven (2023 OF, Elk Grove, IL) The 2023 grad displayed a mature approach at the plate with a smooth, repeatable barrel plane. Flashed the ability to throw the barrel head to all parts of the zone to produce solid contact. Picked up two base hits in his last two plate appearances.

Walker Pedante (2021 RHP, Glen Allen, VA) Utilized a high three-quarters arm slot creating good run to arm side in the mid to upper 80's, topped at 88 mph. Also showed plus feel for a sinking changeup in the upper 70's.

Nik Copenhaver (2023 RHP, Hamilton, OH) Showed a long, lean frame with room to fill. Showed good feel for fastball to each edge of the plate working his fastball up to 84 mph. Curveball flashed sharp 11/5 shape in the upper 60's.

Sergio DeCello (2021 UT, Hamilton, OH) Showed off his athletic actions all over the field. Shows multi position potential defensively and flashed the ability to generated loud contact at the plate when squared.

AJ Ewing (2023 SS, Springboro, OH) Showed a mature approach at the plate with present bat speed through extension. Collected two base hits in game action.

Cameron Gilkerson (2023 OF, Hilliard, OH) Utilized a mid field approach while employing a clean, linear barrel plane through extension. Consistently generated sharp contact off the barrel collecting two hits.

Brian Zweigbaum (2022 C, Smithtown, NY) Displayed an aggressive approach at the plate and looks to attack the baseball with authority. Showed good bat speed through the zone with strength at contact. Collected two hits including a double in his second at bat of the game.

Carson French (2023 RHP, West Chester, OH) The 2023 grad showed  a simple, repeatable delivery from  a high three-quarters slot. Displayed command for each edge of the plate topping at 83 mph. Also flashed good  feel for his breaking ball in  the  upper 60's. Consistently induced weak contact throughout each inning of work.

Stephen Katch (2023 3B, Lancaster, PA) The 2023 grad showed a mature approach at the plate with the ability to control the barrel throughout the zone. Collected 2 singles in 3 trips to the plate.

Noah Wieczorek (2021 RHP, Liverpool, NY) Showed the ability to locate fastball to all parts of the  zone in the low 80's topped at 84 mph. Also flashed the ability to run a cutter through the zone that proved tough to handle for opposing hitters.

Tyler Overholt (2021 LHP, Abbeville, SC) Worked 3 scoreless inning while striking out 6 batters. The 2021 grade consistently worked ahead of hitters with a fastball that worked up to 86 mph and changes speeds with a sharper slider in the low 70's.

Colin Ames (2022 RHP, South Lebanon, OH) Ames displayed good arm speed through extension with a fastball that  topped at 86 mph. Showed good feel for his secondary pitchers and consistently kept hitter off balance in all counts.

Noah Collier (2021 RHP, Chalfont, PA) The 2021 grad impressed offensively today showing quick hands through the zone with a compact, direct path. Collected 2 singles in 3 trips to the plate.

James Jett (2020 OF, Louisville, KY) The Kentucky native displayed plus bat speed with present strength in power. Created very loud jump off the barrel when squared.

Lewis Cropper (2021 RHP, Wilton, CT) Cropper worked 3 scoreless innings while striking out 4 batters. The 2021 grad worked up to 84 mph showing good downhill tilt to the bottom quadrants of the zone. Also flashed good feel for the zone with both his breaking ball and slider offerings.

Grant Comstock (2021 RHP, Valparaiso, IN) The Northwestern commit showed a simple, repeatable delivery with good arm whip through extension. Fastball jumped out of hand creating heavy actions to the plate at 88 mph. The 2021 grad also displayed a plus changeup with late fade and sink in the low to mid 70's.
