Gunner Aldridge is a 2021 2B/3B with a 6-2 160 lb. frame from Lake Orion, MI who attends Lake Orion Community. Tall and slender young athletic build with lots of physical projection remaining. Left handed hitter, gets coiled well in his load and uses his lower half well to generate bat speed, hits from a straight stance and has good balance and direction in his swing, line drive swing plane with a pull side approach, has present bat speed with more to come as he physically matures and gets stronger. Moves well on defense with smooth footwork, has side to side range, high arm slot with developing arm strength. Also pitched, 3/4's arm slot with a full arm circle in back, works from the stretch. Threw strikes with a fastball that topped out at 74 mph. Bat is his tool. Good student.
