2020 Top Prospects
James Jett  OF - 2020 - Louisville, KY
Charleston Southern

Jett has an impressive 6-4/205 build and lots of present strength to go with his long levers. He runs a 6.84 sixty, plus for an athlete that size, and was especially impressive with the bat. He has big power potential but also showed in games that he could handle the barrel and square up the ball. He's signed with Lincoln Trail JC.

2021 Top Prospects
Boston Smith  C - 2021 - Vandalia, OH
University of Cincinnati

Smith would have been one of the best prospects at the event if he hadn't taken batting practice, with a tightly wound athletic build, 6.82 speed and outstanding athleticism behind the plate defensively. But his BP show was one of the best we'll see this year, with 4-5 no doubt bombs and numerous other solid barrels. The Cincinnati commit is a prospect to remember for the rest of the summer and beyond.

Grant Comstock  RHP - 2021 - Valparaiso, IN
Northwestern

The 6-6/205 Comstock is an elite level athlete who looks like the model of a future NFL tight end down to his 6.68 speed. Surprisingly, he only pitched at the event and was up to 88 mph with good feel for his curveball and change up and has a very high ceiling overall.

Adrian Davis  OF - 2021 - West Chester, OH
Uncommitted

Davis is a very quick twitch player with elite game speed who understands his primary tool and uses it aggressively in all aspects of the game. He's a natural left handed hitter who shows a nice swing from that side with very good barrel accuracy and is learning to hit right handed as well.

Walker Pedante  RHP - 2021 - Glen Allen, VA
Christopher Newport University

Pedante is a PG showcase veteran who keeps getting better step by step as we see him more. He was up to 88 mph with his fastball but his best skill is the late exploding life he gets on his fastball, especially when he gets run on the glove side. His secondary pitches and especially his moving change up are solid pitches, too.

Sergio DeCello  C - 2021 - Hamilton, OH
Charleston Southern

DeCello is a true utility player who may have been the event's top catcher defensively but would also rank with the top centerfielders as well. He combines the quickness and the arm strength to excel at any position on the field. A UNC-Charlotte commit, he's also a switch hitter with some bat speed from both sides.

Aaron Saltsman  OF - 2021 - Rockledge, FL
College of Central Florida

Saltsman had some of the best raw bat speed at the showcase with a notably short and direct right handed swing. He not only showed his power in the games but also showed a very patient approach that should really boost his walk/on base totals. He's also a 6.79 runner.

Julius Scearce  OF - 2021 - Lexington, KY
Eastern Kentucky/Motlow State CC

Scearce is a broad shouldered 6-2/185 athlete with lots of strength coming in his future to go with his plus 6.6 speed in the sixty. He really stood out for his left handed swing, including going 4-4 in Sunday's game and looks to have a very advanced feel for the barrel. Scearce is a Kentucky commit.

Colby Guy  SS - 2021 - Charlotte, NC
Jackson State

Guy has a slender and young 5-10/150 build but lots of present tools. He's a 6.74 runner with quickness in the middle infield and shows plenty of arm strength both on defense and on the mound, where he topped out at 87 mph.

Jonathan Phipps  RHP - 2021 - Somerset, KY
Ohio

Phipps is a slender 6-3/160 right hander with polish and a full three-pitch arsenal to come at hitters with. He worked in the mid-80's with his fastball to go with a 78 mph change up that flashed plus and a solid 74 mph slider.

Al Holguin  1B - 2021 - Chicago, IL
South Carolina-Upstate

Holquin is a big young man at 6-2/210 and is a solid two-way prospect. His big offensive tool is not surprisingly his left handed power potential but he also showed a mid-80's fastball off the mound with some feel for locating and changing speeds.

Tyler Overholt  LHP - 2021 - Abbeville, SC
Lander

Overholt is a strong bodied left hander who topped out at 86 mph and threw a complete arsenal of off speed pitches while showing a solid ability to spin the ball and create shape. He's a College of Charleston commit.

Alexander Diaz  SS - 2021 - Brooklyn, NY
Cloud County CC

Diaz has no true standout tool but he's solid in all areas and really stands out for his skills on both sides of the ball. He squares up everything at the plate and makes clean, routine plays very confidently on defense. He'll help some team win games at the next level.

2022 Top Prospects
Korbyn Dickerson  OF - 2022 - Jeffersonville, IN
Louisville

Dickerson is a 6-1/170 very projectable athlete who is filled with present tools, including 6.61 speed and an 89 mph outfield arm. The Louisville commit has plenty of right handed bat speed and power potential as he grows into his swing.

Dominic Krupinski  C - 2022 - Livonia, MI
Indiana State

Kurpinski was one o the top defensive catchers at the showcase but he's the type of athlete who looked just as good at shortstop, too. It's easy to imagine him as a true "all over the field" defender. His left handed bat was solid, too, and he played with energy and enthusiasm.

Jack Vallario  SS - 2022 - Dix Hills, NY
Fordham

Vallario's best tool is his right handed bat. He's an aggressive hitter who creates bat speed and showed barrel skills both in batting practice and in the games and has surprising pop for a young 5-10/150 athlete.

Colin Ames  RHP - 2022 - South Lebanon, OH
Uncommitted

Ames is a big bodied 6-2/215 right hander with a solid present fastball/slider combination and a good ability to throw strikes to all quadrants. He held his mid-80's velocity well throughout his start and often used his big breaking slider to finish off hitters.

Jonathan Larrea  C - 2022 - Queens, NY
Murray State

Larrea is a high level defensive prospect behind the plate, with very compact and athletic actions in all aspects of his blocking and throwing. How much his bat improves will determine his overall ceiling.

2023 Top Prospects
Brett Denby  SS - 2023 - New Albany, IN
Wright State

Denby is a very athletic middle infielder who projects to stay in the middle of the infield as gets older. He runs a 6.87 and has smooth middle infield footwork and actions to go with a strong arm.

Nik Copenhaver  RHP - 2023 - Hamilton, OH
Vanderbilt

Copenhaver has an outstanding young pitcher's build at 6-4/190 and plenty of present athleticism to go with it. He worked up to 84 mph with his fastball with plus command potential while showing a full four-pitch arsenal. He has a chance to be a high level prospect with normal development.

AJ Ewing  SS - 2023 - Springboro, OH
Alabama

Ewing has very good middle of the infield defensive tools and skills and is already committed to play at the next level for Wright State. He's a left handed hitter with strength in the barrel and a line drive, middle of the field approach.

Lucas Moore  OF - 2023 - West Chester, OH
Louisville

Moore ran a 6.56 sixty, which if flying for a 2023 under any conditions. He's not a one-tool player either, as he's a solid outfielder with some left handed bat speed to keep developing.

Cameron Gilkerson  OF - 2023 - Hilliard, OH
Wright State

Gilkerson is already 6-2/205 with plus strength in his barrel for a high school player of any age. The ball explodes off his barrel to all fields and there are plenty of things he can do to get that strong body more involved in his swing.

Griffen Paige  LHP - 2023 - Mount Pleasant Mills, PA
Wright State

Paige has a very young 6-2/160 body and a young overall look to him physically. He was up to 82 mph with an easy delivery and already has an advanced idea how to locate the ball and change speeds to get hitters out. He has a chance to be very good by the time he's, say, 6-3/190.

Stephen Katch  3B - 2023 - Lancaster, PA
Mount St. Mary`s

Katch is a very strong 6-0/190 young athlete whose best present tool is his power potential. He's a primary third baseman at present but showed enough tools behind the plate to make one think he has a chance at catcher as well defensively.

Carson French  RHP - 2023 - West Chester, OH
University of Cincinnati

French showed advanced pitching skills for a 2023 along with plenty of raw stuff. He worked up to 83 mph on his fastball while working to spots and showing deception with changes to his delivery and his ability to mix pitches.
