2028 Top Prospects
Cayden Mader  3B - 2028 - Grayson, GA
Uncommitted

Mader, a primary third baseman impressed across the board during the showcase. He consistently drove the ball with impact and authority to the middle of the field and recorded a 91 mph exit velocity. On the bump, Mader showed arm talent and ran the fastball up to 83, complimenting it with a curveball.

Sebastian Parra  SS - 2028 - Bethlehem, GA

Parra was on the barrel consistently during his round and has advanced bat-to-ball skills. He wore out the middle and there is plenty of separation along with functionality to the swing. The actions in the infield play and Parra is an all-around gamer type.

Ashton Rutledge  3B - 2028 - Lawrenceville, GA

Rutledge showed all fields ability and nice impact from the left side. The juice projects in the future and showed well already to the middle of the field. There is lift to the path and the actions in the infield were deliberate with soft hands.


2029 Top Prospects
Ryan Pearson  OF - 2029 - Marietta, GA

Pearson has a fast bat with lift and can leverage the barrel with good power. The offensive profile projects very well as does the stuff on the mound. Pearson ran the heater up to 87 mph and mixed in a hammer curveball that he showed confidence and feel for.

Sky Sakuma  SS - 2029 - Peachtree City, GA

Sakuma showed out in game, tripling down the right field line and also made it look easy in the dirt, showcasing feel for the glove and ability to throw from different angles. The shortstop has quickness to the hands at the plate and projects well moving forward.

RJ Westbrook  LHP - 2029 - Marietta, GA

Westbrook showcased excellent two-way upside. The primary southpaw topped at 82 mph with a sweeping slider, making for a tough at-bat. The left-handed bat used all fields with feel for the barrel, recording an exit velocity of 85 mph.

Luka Kortava  SS - 2029 - Braselton, GA

Kortava displayed a functional swing with really simple parts, staying short to the ball while utilizing a middle of the field approach. The feel for the barrel is advanced and he flashed pop to the pull side during his round.

MJ Prisco  OF - 2029 - Bradenton, FL

Prisco has a loose and smooth left-handed stroke and a mature middle of the field approach to go along. The pop comes easy and he sent a missile off the base of the right field wall in game for a triple. The arm showed well too, showing one hop accuracy and recording throws up to 83 mph from the outfield.

Makai Hopkins  OF - 2029 - Smyrna, GA

Hopkins showed some nice impact during his round to the pull side and middle of the field. The outfielder is physical with present strength that showed at the point of contact, also showing an accurate arm with some carry during workouts.

Malachi Lightsey  3B - 2029 - Odum, GA

Lightsey has excellent tools with lots of strength in the bat. Thr primary third baseman meets the ball with impact out front and recorded an exit velocity of 89 mph. The glove was clean and the footwork was well-coordinated in the dirt, also showing arm strength up to 82 mph on the mound.

Tate Broom  C - 2029 - Calhoun, GA

Broom has a simple and easy swing that produced great results. The right-handed showed the ability to drive the ball with authority to both gaps and has a clean path through the zone. The pop projects and the backstop is athletic behind the dish as well.

Dyson Sparks  OF - 2029 - Acworth, GA

Sparks has present physicality along with the athleticism to match. At the plate, he employed a direct stroke with advanced bat speed while flashing some impact. Sparks swung it well in game as well and the power projects very well.

Benjamin Taylor  OF - 2029 - Watkinsville, GA

Taylor is an athletic outfielder with twitch that showed up across his game. The Georgia native can burn on the basepaths, running a 6.89 60-yard dash. There is hand speed with rhythm and lots of intent to the swing, creating some nice whip.

Derrick DeLoney Jr.  OF - 2029 - Fayetteville, GA

DeLoney Jr. has a well-rounded game and showed well in multiple facets. The outfielder is a good athlete and has an accurate arm with carry. There is quality bat speed as well and the arm projects on the hill, topping at 80 mph with plenty room for more.

Ricky Frazier III  1B - 2029 - Marietta, GA

Frazier III does a lot of things well on the diamond. The Georgia native has low effort impact coming off the bat and looked the part in the infield. He also ran the fastball up to 80 mph with feel to land a big curveball for strikes consistently.

Tex Leonard  SS - 2029 - Cumming, GA

Leonard swung it well and possesses a lot of pieces to like offensively. He stayed on the barrel during the round and produced lots of line drives into center. The bat is quick through the zone there is fluidity to the barrel to go along.
