Sky Sakuma is a 2029 SS/RHP/OF with a 5-8 135 lb. frame from Peachtree City, GA who attends Mcintosh. Lean young high waisted build. Left handed hitter sets up in a spread stance with a deep hand load, big leg raise timer, lots of moving parts to time up, has some hand speed and looseness that give him projection as he adds strength, hits to all fields. 7.45 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, works around the ball well, fields it deep, plants to throw and shows some young arm strength across, uses his lower half well throwing. Also worked out in the outfield, fielded the ball out front cleanly and showed a quick and clean release. Also pitched, works from the stretch with a high leg raise over the rubber and drop and drive mechanics down the mound, longer arm action to an over the top release. Fastball topped out at 76 mph and was mostly straight with some downhill angle. Also threw a soft curveball with some 11/5 shape and depth to go with a straight change up.
