Ben Cruikshank (2018 LHP, Fairview Heights, IL) Good lefty with a hard fastball at 90mph. Able work both sides with fastball. Has a big breaking curveball that is kept towards the bottom of the zone. Also flashed a changeup with good run.

Braden Spawr (2019 C, Saint Louis, MO) Loud contact on a hard hit ball to the right centerfield gap. Took a hard fastball on the outer half the other way.

Drew Gray (2021 OF, Swansea, IL) Hammered a fastball right back up the middle. Loud line drive with a hard swing looking to drive the ball.

Maguire Meunier (2019 OF, Mascoutah, IL) Made good contact on an extra base hit in the game. Line drive path to the baseball.

Cooper McMurray (2020 1B, Tulsa, OK) Collected multiple hits in the game. Showed his ability to hit to all fields with good power. Strong swing with a quick bat.

Drew Baughman (2021 SS, St. Louis, MO) Put good swings on the ball making solid, loud contact. Has good control of the barrel and consistently squares up the ball.

Will Gross (2020 RHP, Mountain Home, AR) Solid righty on the mound. Went heavy on the fastball that got on hitters quickly at 86.

Matthew Hill (2019 OF, Pineville, NC) Took a fastball the other way for a double into the right field gap. Utilizes a short swing with a direct path to contact.

Cole Krieger (2020 RHP, Chesterfield, MO) Pitched in relief for two innings. Struck out some batters with a fastball that topped at 84mph. Has a good secondary changeup with a some sinking run that left hitters off balance. Mixed pitches well.

Aaron Moss (2021 C, St. Louis, MO) Had a hard hit ball, line drive over the shortstop into the gap for a double. Lifted barrel path and looks to pull.

Brayden Holder (2021 OF, Imperial, MO) Hit a hard fastball the other way for a hit. Stayed back and drive the ball into right field

Christian Johnson (2019 RHP, Raytown, MO) hit a hard single up the middle showing good bat speed.  He also pitched at 80-85 MPH with a quick arm action.  He got good running action on his fastball at times.

Zach Davidson (2019 LHP, Hartsburg, MO) pitched at 80-83 MPH with some arm speed.  He threw an occasional curveball at 71 MPH with some shape to it.  

Nathan McFall (2021 C, Mahomet, IL) hammered a would be extra base hit/home run down the left field line.  He barreled the baseball up and hit it hard.

Evan Gray (2019 RHP, Swansea, IL) pitched at 85-86 MPH with a live arm.  He threw a power hard breaking curveball at 76 MPH with bite and shape.  

Cooper McMurray (2020 1B, Tulsa, OK) pitched at 80-82 MPH with his fastball and located well.  He struck out 4 in his inning of work.  He also swung the bat well and hammered a home run.  He has good strength in his swing.

Payton Boyd (2019 3B, Haubstadt, IN) swung the bat well collecting 2 hits in the game.  

Brian Williams (2019 OF, Mendota Heights, MN) hit a hard double in game.  He showed some bat speed.

Batting Practice Highlights (Sunday)

2/25/2018

Jackson Beaman (2020 SS, Lincoln, MO) The Lincoln, Missouri native swung with the intent to drive the baseball with authority. Consistently created loud contact off the barrel between each outfield gap. 

Michael Long (2019 C, Ellisville, MO) Long repeatedly found the barrel throughout batting practice producing sharp lines drive to the middle of the field. Flashed the ability to throw barrel head to contact and produced tight spin off the barrel as well. 

Jason Oviedo (2020 3B, Lexington, KY) Ovideo utilized his lower half well creating very good bat speed through the zone. The 2020 Kentucky native showed big raw power potential that should continue to develop with maturity. 

Keegan Allen (2021 OF, Rogers, AR) and Payton Allen (2021 SS, Rogers, AR) The Allen brothers displayed a mirror image of each other at the plate. Showing very quick hands with the barrel control to work to all fields. Each Keegan and Payton utilize a calm, balanced approach at the plate that produces a very high contact rate. 

Jacob Kroeger (2019 LHP, Palmyra, MO) The primary left handed pitcher also impressed at the plate during batting practice showing a smooth, repeatable line drive swing plane. Kroeger utilized a mid field approach that led to consistent sharp contact. 

Jimmy Obertop (2019 C, Saint Louis, MO) Obertop, a University of Michigan commit, showed big time pop off the barrel with a naturally leveraged swing plane. The 2019 grad continually punished the baseball between the gaps throughout batting practice. 

Andrue Henry (2020 1B, Dubuque, IA) The 6-foot-3, 215-pound third baseman continues to improve his offensive game as each year passes. Henry’s bat speed is impressive for his age and consistently finds the barrel to create very loud, hard contact to the gaps. The Iowa native will be a close name to follow as he continues to mature. 

Drew Gray (2021 OF, Swansea, IL) The 6-foot-1, 150-pound prospect displayed good fluidity and rhythm in his swing. Gray consistently looked to attack the middle of the field between the gaps with a naturally leverage barrel plane. 

Cooper McMurray (2020 1B, Tulsa, OK) The 2020 uncommitted first baseman utilized an uphill barrel plane and swung with the intent to drive the baseball with authority. McMurray consistently barreled the baseball generating loud contact off the barrel throughout batting practice. 

Cameron Lewis (2019 3B, Bloomington, IL) The uncommitted third baseman out of Bloomington, IL had one of the best rounds of the day. Lewis showed a very smooth, fluid swing path with excellent control of the barrel. The 2019 grad repeatedly punished the baseball throughout batting practice. 

Brian Williams (2019 OF, Mendota Heights, MN) The Minnesota native showed very quick hands through the hitting zone with the ability to turn the barrel to contact with aggression. Williams’ clean, naturally leverage barrel plane created tight back spin off the barrel at contact. 

Josh Fitzgerald (2019 OF, Mason City, IA) The Mason City, Iowa native was impressive throughout the day posting a 6.52 sixty yard dash, topping at 90mph from the outfield and displaying excellent raw power at the plate. Fitzgerald, an uncommitted outfielder, utilizes a direct path to contact that creates hard consistent line drives to all fields. 

Cole Krieger (2020 RHP, Chesterfield, MO) Krieger, a primary pitcher, also impressed at the plate. The 2020 grad maintains excellent balance throughout his swing with the barrel control to work to all fields on a line.

Garry Maynard (2019 3B, Oswego, IL) The 2019 grad showed solid feel for the barrel paired with present bat speed and strength at contact. Maynard flashed good fast twitch actions that allowed him to throw the barrel with authority to pitches located inner or outer half. 

Matt Mier (2018 SS, Bloomington, IL) The Judson University (Illinois) commit displayed excellent bat speed and raw power during batting practice. Mier produced explosive contact off the barrel to pull side generating exit velocities up to 96 mph. 

Carson Richardson (2020 3B, Collinsville, IL) Richardson aggressively attacked the baseball with good lower half shift to contact. The 2020 grad generates good power with the hand speed to turn the barrel with authority.  

Braden Spawr (2019 C, Saint Louis, MO) The 6-foot-1, 190-pound catcher utilized a direct path to contact with an uphill barrel plane through extension. Spawr looked to damage the baseball while lifting the baseball to the middle of the field between the gaps. 

Purple vs Red Game Highlights

2/25/2018

Hunter Dreves (2018 RHP, Fort Thomas, KY) pitched at 84-86 MPH topping at 88 MPH with his fastball.  He threw a sharp curveball at 76 MPH with tight spin.  Dreves showed a good change up in between innings with sink and run on it.  Tennessee signee.

Morgan Lunceford (2021 RHP, Shawnee, OK) pitched at 81-85 MPH with his fastball and located his fastball.  He showed very good feel for his change up at 74 MPH.  He's an interesting young follow.

Frank Lopez (2019 RHP, Ofallon, MO) pitched well at 84-86 MPH and touched 88 MPH in warm ups.  He showed feel for his 11/5 curveball at 71 MPH.

Keegan Allen (2021 OF, Rogers, AR) pitched at 84-88 MPH and located well.  He threw his curveball for strikes and showed a feel for pitching.

Payton Allen (2021 SS, Rogers, AR) pitched at 83-86 MPH and showed arm strength on the mound.

Jackson Beaman (2020 SS, Lincoln, MO) pitched 84-85 MPH and can spin a breaking ball for strikes.  He also swung the bat very well in game barreling up the baseball multiple times.  He's a legit two-way prospect.

Andrue Henry (2020 1B, Dubuque, IA) consistently barreled up the baseball with hard contact.  He showed good strength in his swing with bat speed.

Michael Long (2019 C, Ellisville, MO) hammered the baseball a couple times and has an aggressive approach.  

Jimmy Obertop (2019 C, Saint Louis, MO) showed good hitting tools at the plate collecting 2 hits.  He also showed high level catching tools behind the plate.

Andrew Vogel (2020 SS, Cottontown, TN) made a great full extension diving play up the middle to rob a hit.  

Joshua Alexander (2021 3B, Wildwood, MO) hammered a double with solid contact in the game.

Roger "Eben" Heine (2020 OF, Plainfield, IL) Has a good fastball in the mid 80's. Repeated delivery well and stayed around the zone getting a lot of swing and miss. Good slider with sharp movements. Good command of both pitches.

Chase Krogman (2019 OF, Dardenne Prairie, MO) Solid lefty on the mound. Threw a nice fastball that topped at 85 and had some run. Flashed a slider with some downward movement.

Cade Hohl (2020 SS, St. Louis, MO) Hard hit ball back up the middle for a hit. Can control the barrel with a line drive bat path.

Emmanuel Scott (2021 C, Chicago, IL) Good defensive catcher. Received the ball well. Had a hard hit ball into left centerfield. Has a line drive path and makes consistent good contact.

Mark Shallenberger (2019 1B, St. Louis, MO) Swung the bat hard and looks to really drive the ball to the gaps. Pulled the ball into right centerfield for a hit

Logan Bibb (2019 LHP, Scott Afb, IL) Hammered a ball that would went for extra bases to the gap in right. Present strength and has good power with the ability to lift the ball to the deep parts of the field

Luke Davenport (2020 RHP, Fayetteville, AR) Solid on the mound with a heavy fastball that topped at 87mph. Also showed a solid secondary pitch in his 12-to-6 curveball that had good depth.

Alex Logusch (2020 MIF, Ballwin, MO) Impressive outing on the mound. Good fastball at 86mph. Impressive curveball with 12-to-6 movements. Had late, hard movement that hitters struggled to touch.

Blake Mozley (2019 SS, Ozark, MO) Has some solid hand speed able to get around and pulled an extra base hit into the right field gap. Solid approach with a slightly elevated bat path.

Matthew Magre (2020 OF, Fayetteville, AR) Threw the final inning. Good fastball at 84mph that worked glove side.

Daniel Burns (2020 RHP, Ofallon, IL) Collected a couple of hits in the game. Looks to pull the ball with leverage in his swing. Turns the barrel to contact and aims to drive the gaps by getting under the ball.

Alec Gonzalez (2020 SS, Chicago Heights, IL) Doubled early in the game. Has good bat speed and controls the barrel of the bat well making good contact. Good strength getting some jump off the barrel. He also pitched an inning in the game topping at 86mph with a good slider and change-up mix.

Alex Logusch (2020 MIF, Ballwin, MO) Squared up 85 mph and drove it up the middle with good lift. Turns the barrel well with good bat speed and a lifted bat path.

Daniel Hammond (2019 RHP, Prairie Village, KS) Was perfect setting down eight of eight batters with six strikeouts. Good fastball with plane up to 85mph. Dropped a slider in at 78.

Evan Howse (2019 RHP, Lake St. Louis, MO) Strong righty with a good fastball that reached 89mph. Got good control in his second inning. Had a 12-to-6 curveball and flashed a changeup with some fade.

Logan Bibb (2019 LHP, Scott Afb, IL) Tossed two good innings. Fastball got up to 84mph. Was deceptive and missed some barrels. Struck out six of eight batters.





Gold vs Green Game Highlights

Will Stevens (2019 RHP, Kansas City, MO) pitched at 87-90 MPH with his fastball and showed a quick arm action.  He gets good explosion from his lower half and he showed good balance. 

Mason Auer (2019 OF, Springfield, MO) pitched at 89-90 MPH with his fastball with a quick arm action.  

Jack Hunke (2021 RHP, Foristell, MO) pitched at 83-85 MPH with a quick arm action.  He threw a curveball at 69 MPH with some shape to it.  Hunke projects for more velocity with strength gains and a few adjustments to his delivery.  Interesting young follow.

Dylan MacCallum (2020 RHP, Portland, OR) pitched at 83-88 MPH with a clean arm action.  He gets good downhill action on his fastball and projects for more velocity.  MacCallum threw a curveball with shape to it at 67 MPH and a slider at 76 MPH.  

Jake Deakins (2018 LHP, Columbia, MO) pitched at 80-83 MPH and hid the ball well.  He's a pitchability lefty and threw 3 pitches for strikes.  He spun his curveball well with some shape to it.  

Collin Cook (2019 3B, Waukee, IA) swung the bat well collecting 2 hits in the game.

Jalen Greer (2019 SS, Chicago, IL) showed good hitting tools and barreled a hard deep fly ball to the right side.  

National Indoor Showcase BP Highlights (Saturday)

Cade Argo (2019 2B, Firth, NE) The 2019 grad and Nebraska native showed good pop between the gaps with a simple, balanced swing plane. Argo utilizes a mature approach and showed very good feel for the barrel. 

Zach Argo (2018 RHP, Firth, NE) Argo has shown off his ability to be a two-way player for years and continued to do so today. The Air Force commit utilized a clean linear swing path the produced sharp line drive contact to all parts of the field throughout batting practice. 

Elijah Dale (2019 SS, Saint Louis, MO) The uncommitted St. Louis native showed excellent feel for the barrel from both sides off the plate. Dale consistently drove the ball sharply from each side of the plate proving to be a legitimate offensive threat from either the right, or left side.

Alex Rakas (2019 SS, Oswego, IL) The 2019 shortstop showed a very balanced, calm approach at the plate with a direct path to contact. Rakas primarily looked to drive the baseball between the gaps, but flashed to barrel control to work from line to line.

Hayden Juenger (2018 RHP, O'Fallon, IL) The Missouri State commit showed off his two-way potential in batting practice consistently abusing the baseball to the middle of the field. Juenger repeats his swing with ease while creating loud, explosive contact off the barrel. 

Kurtis Byrne (2019 C, Chesterfield, MO) The 6-foot-1, 210-pound Indiana commit looked to damage the baseball throughout batting practice. Byrne has big raw power with the ability to drive the ball to all fields with ease. The 2019 grad should fit nicely in the middle of the Hoosiers lineup for years to come. 

Kaden Byrne (2021 C, Chesterfield, MO) Younger brother of Kurtis Byrne, Kaden shows many similar tools at his young age. The 2021 grad utilized a naturally lofted barrel plane that generated good lift and spin off the barrel to the gaps. With continued maturity, Kaden should continue to develop into a hitter with solid raw power. 

Mason Auer (2019 OF, Springfield, MO) After posting a 6.67 sixty-yard dash and tossing 98mph from the outfield, Auer continued to impress with the bat. The 6-foot-1 right handed hitter drove the ball with authority to all fields utilizing a naturally leverage barrel plane. 

Harrison Poeszat (2019 C, Commerce Township, MI) The 6-foot-2, 190-pound catching prospect displayed good bat speed through the zone while aggressively attacking the baseball. Poeszat possesses the ability to swing with extreme intent while maintain balance to finish. 

Andrew Wiegman (2019 SS, Antioch, IL) Wiegman, a Louisville commit, has a very projectable frame with a lot of strength to come. At the plate, the 2019 grad consistently drove the ball with authority between the gaps with ease. 

Cooper Holewinski (2019 OF, Verona, WI) The Wisconsin native utilized a simple, compact barrel path to contact that generated a smooth line drive plane through extension. Holewinski has solid fast twitch actions that allows him to drive the baseball to all parts of the field.

Gage Singer (2019 3B, Aurora, MO) Singer displayed advanced barrel skills throughout batting practice with plenty of present strength at contact. The 2019 grad utilized a smooth, balanced line drive plane that generated explosive contact off the barrel. 

Jalen Greer (2019 SS, Chicago, IL) Greer, a Missouri commit, utilized a very balanced, fluid swing while at the plate. The 2019 shortstop has the barrel feel and hand quickness to drive multiple pitch types to all fields consistently.

Alec Gonzalez (2020 SS, Chicago Heights, IL) The 2020 Illinois native utilized a naturally leverage barrel plane with present bat speed through extension. Gonzalez has plenty of room to continue to add strength with projectable raw power at the plate.

Daniel Hammond (2019 RHP, Prairie Village, KS) Hammond, listed as a primary pitcher, also impressed in batting practice. The Kansas native showed very quick hands paired with a simple, direct barrel path that created consistent hard contact to the middle of the field.

Chase Krogman (2019 OF, Dardenne Prairie, MO) Krogman continued to impressive offensively after posting a velocity of 92mph from the outfield. The Missouri State commit looked to do big damage while at the plate utilized an uphill barrel plane. Krogman consistently generated loud, explosive contact off the barrel to each gap.

Danny Lachance (2019 OF, St Louis, MO) The 5-foot-6, 140-pound outfielder displayed excellent barrel control while at the plate with the ability to drive the ball to all fields. Lachance has good strength for his size that generated solid jump off the barrel.

Tyler Hedtkamp (2019 SS, Arnold, MO) The 2019 shortstop showed a calm, balanced approach at the plate paired with a smooth, repeatable swing plane. Hedtkamp keeps his swing very simple throughout creating a high contact approach.

Alex Logusch (2020 MIF, Ballwin, MO) The 2020 grad from Ballwin, MO showed good hip torque to contact with the present hand speed to aggressively turn the barrel to contact. Logusch utilized a slightly lifted barrel plane through the zone that generated tight backspin off the barrel.

Hamilton Anderson (2019 C, Columbia, IL) The 6-foot-3, 205-pound catcher generated good linear shift with solid strength at contact. Anderson displays excellent balance with a mature approach at the plate and the ability to repeat his swing.

Logan Bibb (2019 LHP, Scott Afb, IL) Bibb, a primary pitcher, was also very impressive at the plate displaying some of the best raw power of the day. The Illinois native consistently hammered to baseball to each gap with authority throughout batting practice. 

Mark Shallenberger (2019 1B, St. Louis, MO) The primary first baseman showed a simple, repeatable swing path with the strength to drive the ball through the gaps. The uncommitted prospect showed a mature approach at the plate as well.


Garrett Manous (2019 OF, Munster, IN) The University of Indiana commit utilized a direct path to contact paired with a line drive barrel plane. Manous generated very good bat speed for his 5-foot-11, 170-pound frame and consistently drove the ball with authority. 

Blake Mozley (2019 SS, Ozark, MO) Mozley, a Missouri State commit, displayed good feel for the barrel with the barrel control to work to all fields. The 2019 also showed the ability to turn the barrel aggressively and generated hard, loud contact to pull side.

Black vs Columbia Blue Game Highlights

Hayden Juenger (2018 RHP, O'Fallon, IL) was impressive pitching at 89-93 MPH with his fastball and located it well.  He got some run on his fastball and threw a slider at 81 MPH for strikes.  He had a very good outing and dominated throwing 3 pitches for strikes.  Missouri State commit.

Caden Monke (2018 LHP, Mt. Olive, IL) pitched well at 88-92 MPH with his fastball.  He throws a tight curveball at 77 MPH for strikes.  Monke competed in the strike zone well and had a dominant performance.  Arkansas commit.

Zach Argo (2018 RHP, Firth, NE) pitched well at 88-90 MPH and located his fastball well.  Argo threw a sharp curveball for strikes with good shape to it.  He showed a quick arm action and clean delivery.  He also barreled the ball well at the plate.  Air Force commit.

Chris Chiriboga (2018 RHP, Wayzata, MN) pitched at 84-87 MPH with his fastball and projects for more.  He threw a curveball at 72 MPH with shape to it.  

Andrew Dennis (2019 RHP, Leawood, KS) pitched well at 84-88 MPH with a clean delivery.  Dennis threw his curveball at 72 MPH and his change up at 76 MPH.  He competed in the strike zone and has projection.

Zachary Moore (2019 RHP, St. Louis, MO) pitched at 84-88 MPH with a quick arm action.  He threw a slider at 77 MPH for strikes with shape to it.  

Kurtis Byrne (2019 C, Chesterfield, MO) showed high level hitting tools at the plate barreling up the baseball well.  He also controlled the game well behind the plate and handled a lot of high velocity pitchers well.  

Isaiah Coupet (2020 OF, Flossmoor, IL) pitched at 81-84 MPH with his fastball with a loose arm action.  

Elijah Dale (2019 SS, Saint Louis, MO) pitched at 84-88 MPH with a quick arm action.
