Chris Dansberry is a 2019 SS/RHP/2B with a 5-8 155 lb. frame from St. Peters, MO who attends Francis Howell HS. Compact frame with a lean build. Ran a 7.05 sixty-yard dash. Primary shortstop with fundamentally sound footwork while working to and surrounding the baseball. Clean glove actions while funneling and working through exchange well. Created accurate carry while throwing across the infield with the ability to release from multiple arm slot. Right handed hitter with a balanced, even stance and simple leg lift trigger. Created slight top half coil at load and worked to contact with rotational lower half actions. Inside hand path to contact with a slightly lifted barrel plane through extension. Primarily utilized a mid field to opposite field approach, flashed good jump off the barrel when letting the ball travel to a deeper position and working the other way. Very good student as well.
