Brady Harris (2026 OF, St. Augustine, FL) creates very good bat speed
with a loose and extended swing. His elevated swing plane creates lots
of top spin but he still gets nice carry to the pull side. Harris was
very consistent and well timed the whole round and squared up almost
every pitch.
Matthew Schroeffel (2026 3B, Knoxville, TN) is one of
the stronger players at the showcase and has the raw strength and bat
speed to bully the baseball. He swings hard from a high hand load and
created carry to the gaps.
Codey Gauff (2026 C, Boynton Beach, FL)
had the best bat speed of the event and took an impressive round. A
switch-hitter, he was especially impressive from the left side,
pummeling some balls to right field that really jumped off the barrel
and carried.
Chance Kirtley (2026 2B, Tomball, TX) has plenty of
growing to do but he has a nice swing when he gets his foot down on time
and a good middle of the field line drive approach with the beginnings
of some real bat speed.
Cody Boshell (2026 1B, Jacksonville, FL)
is a big and strong left-handed hitter with plenty of bat speed and raw
power. He uses his strong lower half well to create lift and carry.
Tristan
Silver (2026 OF, Jacksonville, FL) weighs about 40 pounds less than
Boshell but he too does a really nice job of getting his hips and lower
half working to drive his bat speed. He consistently got the bat head
out front and made solid contact.
Kingston Kost (2026 1B, Des
Moines, IA) has an outstanding 6-3/190 athletic build and the strength
to go with it. He has a very aggressive right handed swing with good
bat speed and really projects well.
Braylon Nelson (2026 SS,
Daphne, AL) is another extra long and potentially strong player at
6-5/190 and another big young player who is athletic and coordinated.
He has a pull oriented swing with nice plane and lift and plenty of
young bat speed.
Jack McKellar (2026 C, Rocky Mount, NC) is an
aggressive left-handed hitter who made his best contact when he stayed
back and waited on the ball. He got one up in the jet stream heading
out to right field for a home run on one such swing.
Justin
Osborne (2026 RHP, Jacksonville, FL) has quick hands and creates some
barrel whip from a barrel tilt start. He made consistent line drive
ball contact with some jump off the barrel.
Ethan Trivison (2026
1B, Jupiter, FL) is listed at a present 6-1/135 so he has lots of
filling out to do but he has a very fluid and smooth left-handed swing
that has tons of potential once the strength kicks in
Slade
Wayne (2026 C, Lake Worth, FL) is an aggressive right handed hitter who
really attacks the baseball. He has very good swing sequencing and
plenty of present bat speed with more to come.
Chandler Dantzler
(2026 SS, Jacksonville, FL) had one of the more polished and repeatable
swings of the event and showed good hand quickness getting the barrel
out to the ball. His swing was very direct and resulted in some solid
line drives up the left centerfield alley.
Brayden Harris (2026
RHP, Orange Park, FL) is best known for his big arm on the mound but
he's a two-way prospect with big bat speed as well. He moves into
contact well and gets his big 6-1/180 body into his swing to help create
bat speed and power.
