Braylon Nelson is a 2026 SS/RHP/MIF with a 6-6 210 lb. frame from Daphne, AL who attends Lighthouse Private Christian Academy. Extra tall and athletic build, tons of physical projection remaining. 7.31 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense but has out grown the middle of the field, long and loose arm action, gets on top of his throws well, third base for now with first base potential depending how much bigger/stronger he gets. Right handed hitter, has an easy lifting swing that fits his body type well, gets the ball in the air and creates big carry to the middle of the field, stays balanced and directional well, big power projection. Verbal commitment to Florida State.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
