Trenton Ramsey is a 2026 LHP/OF with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Ocala, FL who attends North Marion. Medium athletic build with good present strength. Works from a hybrid delivery on the mound with a short side step start, longer on-line arm action hides the ball well into a 3/4's arm slot. Fastball was up to 91 mph with good carry through the zone, up to 20" IVB. Slider had good tilt and some depth. Mixed in a firm change up. Showed three quality pitches and filled up the strike zone, nice overall performance. Worked out in the outfield, showed his arm strength well out there and made low on-line throws. Left handed hitter, sets up in a wide base with a toe tap load, has strength in his hands and his swing, pull side approach with some jump off the barrel. Excellent student with a verbal commitment to Miami.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
