Codey Gauff is a 2026 C/OF with a 5-7 185 lb. frame from Delray Beach, FL who attends ESB Academy. Short and compact athletic build. 6.60 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, sets up side saddle behind the plate, is quick and athletic coming out of his crouch, longer arm action but has a quick transfer and release, makes accurate throws. Switch-hitter with a similar approach from both sides, sets up in a spread stance with a small leg raise trigger and active hand load with some barrel wrap to start his swing, has a bit more intent and raw bat speed from the left side, looking to pull it from both sides, line drive contact. Verbal commitment to Missouri.
