2-Columbia Blue vs 9-Red Highlights

8/8/2021

Cash Williams (2025 C, Choctaw, OK) continued to prove his five-tool potential. He was up to 85 on the mound, making plays in the infield and working smoothly behind the dish with advanced instincts. Plays the game with a lot of knowledge early, certainly a talent to follow.

 

Robert X Mitchell (2025 OF, Garland, TX) has a quality glove with good range in centerfield, he had a nice diving play early in the game and the arm potential has been on display so far with the ability to throw strikes on the mound as well.

 

Josh Glaser (2024 3B, Flower Mound, TX) showed good two-way value to the lineup, the bat plays and on the mound he was up to 84 with a fluid operation and feel to spin a breaking ball.

 

Michael Hampton (2022 3B, Houston, TX) is an intriguing secondary arm, 6-4 frame with a low slot has a lot of run with the fastball up to 85 and feel to land his three-pitch mix.

 

Callan Warren (2025 3B, Odessa, TX) made for an uncomfortable at-bat, long arm action with a quick path and a difficult plane to barrel while the operation disrupted hitters' timing.

6-Maroon vs. 10-Royal Highlights

Kai Paul (2022 SS, Wylie, TX) has hitter's hands and showed them off in this one, picking up a couple knocks including a middle of a 2-RBI double over the center fielder's head. His swing is quick and compact with strength in those hands. 

Zack Moore (2023 SS, Cleburne, TX) had a couple base hits in this one, finishing 2-3 with a run scored. The rising junior has quick hands at the plate with a compact stroke that does a nice job of covering the plate. 

Trevor Breaux (2024 1B, Houston, TX) has advanced strength for his age and shows it off offensively, with the ability to really impact the ball with jump and carry, as evidenced by his hard-barreled double in this game. 

Robert Ryan McDonald (2025 OF, Midlothian, TX) hit a couple balls pretty hard in this game, doubling to left field down the line and also squaring up a liner to 3B that was caught. His barrel is heavy when on time. 

Judah Perez (2023 C, Wichita Falls, TX) has quick hands at the dish and showed off a whole-field approach in this one, squaring up a couple low-launch liners, one for a hit up the middle and the other a liner snared in the 4 hole. 

Luke Kemp (2025 OF, Wall, TX) was intriguing as a young two-way, with a quick stroke at the plate that has present linear carry when on time doubling down the line, and working up to 82 mph on the mound with feel to spin a curveball. He's an athletic and projectable young athlete. 

Mason Hamilton (2024 3B, Hurst, TX) had the loudest swing of the day when he hit a missile of a bomb that got out to dead center on a line, following up an extremely hard-hit double down the line earlier in the game. He has plenty of arm strength from 3B as well. 

Preston Lynch (2024 C, Magnolia, TX) had a pair of extra base knocks in this one, including both a double and a triple. He's got a smooth stroke at the dish with plenty of present bat speed, and looks the part of a masher as he continues to develop. 

Tanner Norman (2024 1B, Midwest City, OK) was the lone member of the 3-hit club in this one, going 3-3 with a triple up the pull-side gap. Norman has advanced strength with a smooth stroke, and has the makings of a high-level hitter. 

Jake Simpson (2022 OF, Shady Shores, TX) made a sensational diving catch in center field in the final inning, ranging to his right and extending well. He's a good athlete with some two-way upside. 


4-Gray vs 7-Navy Highlights

8/8/2021

Evan Ruth (2025 1B, Cypress, TX) applied the pressure on the mound today working quickly through three frames punching out six. Easy simple operation filled up the zone and mixed the secondary well with a fluid arm. Mature elements shown controlling pace and hitting both sides of the plate.

 

Justin Healer (2022 3B, McKinney, TX) was productive on both sides, went hitless on the mound through two innings and roped a base hit. Plays with a good motor and showed smooth actions in the field.

 

Ryan Kelly (2025 LHP, Colleyville, TX) had a well-rounded day with a base hit that led to a run scored, and he executed very well on the mound. The actions are young with a developing physicality, but the upside across his tools is present with a good foundation to build on.


3-Gold vs 8-Orange Highlights

8/8/2021

Stormy Rhodes (2024 RHP, Kerrville, TX) is a very projectable high-waisted 6-3 build with long levers and the right stuff on the mound. Fastball was up to 85 has some late run, mixed with a big 11/5 shape breaking ball for an effective put away. Fits the part up there with more to come.

 

Kylar Galmor (2022 SS, Lubbock, TX) is a versatile athlete that moves well up the middle, he swings it with strength and flashed some pitchability on the mound. Good baseball actions present and a solid build to fill out.

 

Cooper Griffith (2022 1B, Lewisville, TX) is a strong 6-1/210 build with well-rounded tools. He has an easy lofted swing, and the playable contact has gap strength displayed on his 3 hits today. Has a good look at 1B as well, the glove works clean with quick reaction and mobility.

 

Camden Knutson (2024 SS, Tulsa, OK) was consistent and produced, good contact approach connected out front for a two-hit day. Developing strength for now with time to add strength to his solid bat to ball skills.

 

Chase Lashley (2023 1B, Midwest City, OK) connected a multi-hit day at the plate. Simple swing with a big strength upside displayed. He repeats well and showed a good feel to control the barrel and get extended on his two hits that carried in the gap.

 

Brennon Evans (2025 C, Fort Worth, Texas) is a strong build with some quickness in the swing. Good athleticism with a maturing physicality will develop but the swing plays well with plenty to come.

 

Jakobe Delancy (2022 RHP, WItchita, KS) held his own at the plate finding the barrel twice and impacting the basepath. Whole field approach, the swing is simple with balance on a level plane with quick hands that gets the barrel out front providing a good contact tool.

 

Kayden Ward (2023 OF, Mesquite, TX) worked with a lot of looseness on the mound and adjusted well pitch to pitch. Good rhythm with arm side life on the fastball he topped at 82. Good athleticism on the mound with quick lateral movements will carry well with added size.

 

Austin Aldous (2022 3B, Gilbert, AZ) looked good at 3B, sure glove with soft hands and plenty of quality awareness shown. The frame plays well with easy footwork and fluid actions overall.


1-Black vs. 5-Green Highlights

Will Yeary (2024 SS, Mansfield, TX) impressed on the mound with a highly projectable body and loose arm, pounding the zone up to 81 mph and showing good feel for his slider and changeup. 

Pryce Bender (2024 SS, Edmond, OK): Bender is a talented two-way with intriguing upside, working 83-85 mph on the mound with a really fast arm and sharp breaker, and he added a base hit in the game as well. 

Ty Parker (2024 3B, Garber, OK) worked quickly on the mound and showed well, working up to 83 mph with good sinking action and flashes of a good breaking ball as well. He's projectable with a quick arm. 

Daniel Delgado (2023 1B, Midland, TX) has a lot of strength to his build and showed off big time power in his bat in this one, launching a home run over the big wall in left center. He made loud contact in his first AB as well, shooting a liner up the right-center gap that got run down on a nice play. 

Joseph (Nico) Cabutto (2022 OF, Plano, TX) made a really nice play in right field, ranging deep into the gap to snag a well-hit ball that was headed for the wall. He added a hard liner single as well, and looks the part of a potential power bat corner outfielder at the next level. 

Grayson Allred (2022 RHP, Buda, TX) had one of the louder swings of the morning, absolutely hammering a triple on a line to center field that left his bat in a hurry. He's a physical righthanded bat with interesting two-way upside, as he's talented on the mound as well. He smoked a missile of a liner to CF for an out later in the game as well.  

 


9-Red vs 10-Royal Highlights

8/7/2021

Tanner Jackson (2023 RHP, Round Rock, TX) was up-tempo living arm side effectively. Delivery hides the ball with a quick arm was a timing issue at the plate. Punched out five in three innings, fastball was up to 85 and threw plenty of strikes and landing the secondary.

 

Brody Dobecka (2024 OF, Roanoke, TX) had an impressive day at the plate, connected a pair of doubles with a triple to opposite field. Good bat to ball skill showing feel for pitch selection. Aggressive base runner and competed well.

 

Josh Glaser (2024 3B, Flower Mound, TX) has a strong compact stroke with timing intact, barreled a double well with easy impact. 6-3 athletic build has power potential ahead of him.

 

Ryan Marquez (2022 RHP, Carrollton, TX) topped the fastball out at 87 flashing a tight slider in his outing. Arm works loose with a simple operation. Fastball showed good running life with some late dive to it that missed barrels and played well.

 

Anthony Lllera (2024 OF, Southlake, TX) flashed the solid run tool on the bases with a triple. Swing is balanced with some quickness to it and has good athleticism in the outfield.

 

Will Whitehead (2024 SS, Dallas, Texas) barreled a pair of doubles, sound approach with a simple swing has good impact to all fields.

 

Tanner Norman (2024 1B, Midwest City, OK) connected a three-hit day at the plate, large 6-3 frame saw it well and found the barrel consistently. Present strength with plenty more to unlock, flashed a quality glove at 1B as well.


7-Navy vs. 8-Orange Highlights

8/7/2021

Jakobe Delancy (2022 RHP, Wichita, KS) worked up to 83 mph on the mound and showed good feel for both a slider and changeup, striking out 6 in 3 innings and staying around the zone. 

Gannon Moore (2022 RHP, Shallowater, TX) pounded the strike zone in his 3 innings, working 78-82 mph with a clean arm stroke and lots of projection remaining on his frame for strength and velocity gains. 

Jonnie Gifford (2024 C, Fort Gibson, OK) has really impressed with the bat this weekend and continued that in this game, absolutely hammering a double off the wall in left field. His strength and jump off the barrel stand way out. He added a 2nd double to dead center later in the game, really continuing to show the strength. 

Austin Phillips (2024 3B, Fort Worth, TX) had two extremely loud swings in this game, picking up a double and a triple on them. It's a clean, whippy stroke with bat speed and strength and he has the look of a high-level bat. 

Cason Blease (2023 C, Paris, TX) had a couple knocks in this game, showing off a quick bat with good athleticism through his gameplay. He whistled a double and added a hard single for good measure, performing really well. 

Joshua Comeaux (2022 OF, Cypress, TX) had a good BP round yesterday and continued to look interesting in this game, smoking a double pull-side and showing off the bat speed. He has tons of projection on his frame as well. 

Tanner Grimes (2023 OF, Mansfield, TX) had one of the louder swings of the day, smoking a triple that burned the center fielder and was one hop off the wall. He has bat speed and real strength in his hands. 

Justin Healer (2022 3B, McKinney, TX) has good strength to his frame and he shows it in his swing, with the ability to leverage balls into the air with good jump and carry, including a double in this game. 

Aydan Doty (2025 RHP, Valley Center, KS) had a loud swing in the final inning, showing a quick bat with a line drive plane, hammering a line drive down the left field line for a double. 

Nicholas Foster (2025 SS, Fort Worth, TX) picked up a triple in the 10th, going with a fastball on the outer third and smoking it over the right fielder's head for a triple. His swing covers the plate well and he has good bat speed. 


5-Green vs 6-Maroon Highlights

8/7/2021

Andrew Grier (2023 RHP, Justin, TX) is a strong 6-2 build working an easy operation he repeats well. The fastball is a firm 82 for now utilizing two and four seams, heavy look on both that he plays down with intent. Changeup has late dive and breaking ball is tight with a clean delivery. Overall impressive pitchability mixing a tough velocity range in increments with plenty of life on the ball.

 

Diego A Soto (2022 RHP, Austin, TX) held a crafty start running through a hitless three innings in just over thirty pitches. Spun the secondary mix with confidence missing a lot of barrels and creating uncomfortable at-bats at an up-tempo pace.

 

Trevor Breaux (2024 1B, Houston, Texas) barreled a double to the left field wall. The young 6-4 frame flashed good strength on impact with a very projectable build to fill out. Good awareness at 1B, plays the part with reach and a solid glove.

 

Carter Pursley (2023 2B, Alto, TX) has explosive elements in his compact swing, ball jumps off the barrel and he shows present strength. Solid athleticism on both sides shown with a good feel for his game.

 

Ellington Jefferson (2024 3B, Dallas TX) is a physical presence as a 2024 and a true switch hitter with strength from both sides. Developed 6-1 build projects well in the corner infield with sound actions. Muscled a base hit down the line from the left side with a smooth swing.

 

Ethan Ball (2025 C, Corinth, TX) young spark-plug athlete barreled up two singles and was productive on the basepath. Sees the ball very well with a solid contact tool and a whole field approach. Very aggressive runner with good reads, plays the game with an excellent motor.

 

Kai Paul (2022 SS, Wylie, TX) was a fun watch on the mound as a secondary arm, utilized the off-speed well and displayed good versatile athleticism that played middle infield well with smooth actions. Played to compete and executed in the last innings.

1-Black vs 2-Columbia Blue Highlights

8/7/2021

Chase Donovan (2021 RHP, Georgetown, TX) large 6-5 frame topped the fastball out at 89 showing good plane and a playable secondary mix. Firm changeup had some quality fade to it landing the breaking ball plenty. The Hill College signee showed off good pieces to carry on.

 

Cash Williams (2025 C, Choctaw, OK) played with advanced backstop actions and an easy hit tool especially for 2025. He was receiving 88 soft and seamlessly with knowledge of the zone, present arm strength and excellent catch and throw ability as well. The bat played very well barreling a two-hit day at the plate. Plenty of well-established instincts with high IQ.

 

Mason Peters (2022 LHP, Crawford, TX) held a strong appearance, fastball showed command up to 86 with life and a sharp breaking ball he spins with confidence. Smooth rhythm in his operation utilizing the size very well. Tunnels his pitches clean and filled up the zone.

 

Grayson Allred (2022 RHP, Buda, TX) has the right moving parts and projects well on the mound. Physical 6-3 build has more in the tank, working 82-84 range with a heavy fastball flashing some good late sink life and jump out the hand. He can land two planes on the breaking ball mix with good command, good feel for the zone overall.

 

Ty Parker (2024 3B, Garber, OK) highlighted his upside in the field with good reaction and glove skill to build on. Awareness present playing 3B with lateral actions and a good arm throwing across. The swing is connected with easy strength off the barrel. Projectable build with a solid motor as well.

 

Kendyl Johnson (2024 OF, Little Elm, TX) plays with good bounce and quick-twitch movements. Quality left-handed bat plays well with a clean contact tool and plenty of strength to add to it ahead of him. Impacts the basepath and the speed translates well to the outfield.


3-Gold vs. 4-Gray Highlights

8/7/2021

Noah Godwin (2026 OF, Van Alstyne, TX) picked up a pair of base hits, showing a loose and balanced stroke that features good barrel accuracy, hitting hard liners to center and right. He's got very hitterish tools. 

Kylar Galmor (2022 SS, Lubbock, TX) showed off some loud offensive tools in this one, consistently on time with his barrel with good strength behind it. He picked up 3 hits in this one, including 2 loud doubles. 

Brennon Evans (2025 C, Fort Worth, TX) had a big day at the plate, picking up two hits including a triple that was launched up the opposite field gap. Evans has good strength for his grade and shows it off at the plate. 

Jason Baker (2022 OF, Euless, TX) has a quick, compact stroke that is built for hard contact, and he picked up a couple hard barrels in this one, including a triple and a hard liner single. His hands work really well in his swing. 

Cooper Griffith (2022 1B, Lewisville, TX) got on the mound and was wholly dominant in relief, absolutely hammering the strike zone at 79-81 mph with good plane and mixing in a sharp curveball as well. He repeats his delivery well and challenges hitters. 

Ryan Duncan (2025 1B, Friendswood, TX) showed off the bat talent in this one, smoking a triple to center field and showing off a really heavy barrel when he squares it up. He found the barrel a few times and showed well. 

Jon Artis (2024 OF, Katy, TX) has consistent barrel skills with a short, compact stroke that covers the plate well, picking up a couple knocks with a whole-field approach, projecting well for power long term. 


Batting Practice Highlights Teams 6-10

8/6/2021

Robert Ryan McDonald (2025 OF, Midlothian, TX) has a quick stroke with loft to it and the beginnings of good strength, showing a whole field approach with lots of line drives. 

Raleigh Jackson (2023 OF, Celina, TX) showed the ability to really drive the ball pull-side when he gets the barrel out on time, and he's got lots of projection remaining on his frame as well. 

Joshua Comeaux (2022 OF, Cypress, TX) has all the projection in the world remaining on his frame along with present bat speed and feel for the barrel, showing whip to the bat with loud contact on a line. 

Sam Coleman (2024 C, Fort Worth, TX) swings with intent to do damage and has the present strength and bat speed to do so, showing the ability to hammer line drives pull side and up the middle. 

Jonnie Gifford (2024 C, Fort Gibson, OK) took one of the more consistent rounds of the day, generating very good bat speed with violent intent and consistently punishing baseballs on well-struck lines. 

Austin Phillips (2024 3B, Fort Worth, TX) has a simple and repeatable swing that gets the barrel on plane early and uses the whole field, spraying line drives with good jump. 

Brennan Wuerch (2023 OF, Cedar Park, TX) does a good job of getting his lower half involved and generating torque, and he lets the barrel work out front to all fields. 

Mason Hamilton (2024 3B, Hurst, TX) shifts well into his swing and creates good leverage, allowing him to drive the ball into the air on a line with good jump and lots of power projection overall. 

Tanner Norman (2024 1B, Midwest City, OK) has excellent loft to his swing and uses it with advanced strength to his body to really drive the ball pull side with real present impact and lots more to come. 

Jacob Parker (2023 3B, North Richland Hills, TX) rotates well and uses his strength, creating good bat speed as well and showing the ability to consistently square the ball up on a line with authority. 


Batting Practice Highlights Teams 1-5

8/6/2021

Trent Casey (2022 1B, Celina, TX) is a big and strong 6-5/215 right handed hitter who has a very short and direct swing for his size.  It's a simple approach that maximizes barrels and lets his natural strength and bat speed work for him.

Will Yeary (2024 SS, Mansfield, TX) is a tall and slender switch-hitter who has a chance to excel from both sides of the plate.  He has nice bat speed from the right side and is more advanced there but his left handed swing is pretty solid and you can see the projection in it as he matures physically.

Pryce Bender (2024 SS, Edmond, OK) has a long 6-3/165 build that hasn't started to fill in yet but he has some present bat speed that's just going to keep getting better as he gets stronger.

Joseph (Nico) Cabutto (2022 OF, Plano, TX) has the strong look of a rising senior who has worked hard on his body and it shows well in his left handed swing and bat speed.  He turns hard on the ball and creates some jump off the barrel.

Kendyl Johnson (2024 OF, Little Elm, TX) has hitter's hands with good quickness in them and nice barrel control.  He squared up lots of balls and he'll keep getting better as he gets stronger.

Ty Parker (2024 3B, Garber, OK) has a good base swing and his bat speed kept getting better and better throughout the round as he gained confidence and started swing harder.  He pulled some deep at the end of the round.

Cash Williams (2025 C, Choctaw, OK) impressed with his athleticism all morning and batting practice was no exception.  He has plenty of present bat speed and drove some balls hard with a solid line drive swing.

Kylar Galmor (2022 SS, Lubbock, TX) has a nice 6-2/180 build and a rotational swing that has plenty of bat speed and some lift and power to it.  It will be interesting to see if his swing approach works as well in games as it did in BP.

Andre Vasquez (2024 C, Azle, TX) has a young 5-8/155 build that has lots of growing to go but it's a nice swing base with plenty of looseness and extension to go with solid intent.  He'll keep improving with physical maturity.

Carter Pursley (2023 2B, Alto, TX) has a strong compact body with good lower half actions into his swing.  The ball jumped really well when he got the barrel out front and worked the middle of the field.

Andrew Grier (2023 RHP, Justin, TX) was one of the best hitting primary pitchers of the day, with a short swing and a strong 6-2/226 build to drive his swing.  It was a simple swing that produced lots of hard barrels.
