Ethan Ball is a 2025 C/OF with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Corinth, TX who attends Denton Guyer. Smaller young build. 7.05 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, comes out of his crouch well and has good lower half quickness and flexibility, gains ground into his throws, compact arm action, developing arm strength. Also worked out in the outfield. Switch-hitter at the plate, sets up from a from a wide base on the left side with a quick toe tap trigger, line drive swing plane with pull side contact, will get too wide at times. Not as wide right handed and slightly open, more of a middle of the field approach, has some strength in his swing from both sides and found barrels. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
