Daniel Delgado is a 2023 1B/RHP with a 5-11 250 lb. frame from Midland, TX who attends Robert E Lee. Posted an 8.29 in the 60 yard dash. Primary 1B, developing quick movements and footwork off and around the bag. Plays vertical working down on the plays, has awareness here overall with feel for the fundamental actions and glove skill. Right-handed pitcher, was efficient in his outing finding the zone. Fastball topped out at 75 spinning a breaking ball with late fall. The arm action is loose over fluid with life arm side, inside turn delivery with a low 3/4 slot release. RIght-handed hitter, flashed a lot of good strength to engage with a deep homerun in game play. Uphill path in the swing, timing still to be established.
