Robert X Mitchell is a 2025 LHP/OF with a 6-3 165 lb. frame from Garland, TX who attends Prestonwood Christian Academy. Large frame and build with long limbs and significant physical projection remaining. Primary left-handed pitcher who only pitched during the event. Threw exclusively from the stretch. Leg lift up to the belt with an online, loose arm action. High three-quarters arm slot with good carry on the fastball. Pitched to the top of the zone with the heater and averaged around 15" of IVB on the pitch. Low effort release with a relatively simple, and methodical operation. Tunnels the fastball with the 12/6 curveball very nicely. Good amount of drop and depth to the breaking ball with shape and bite. Solid two pitch mix with high level projection. Great student. Verbal commitment to Texas.
