Batting Practice Highlights

Reece Moroney (2023 SS, Fair Haven, NJ): Moroney showed off a good combination of barrel skills and present bat speed during his round. The compactly built middle-infielder incorporates a whole field approach with loose, quick hands and line drive impact. 

JJ Palumbo (2023 C, Westbury, NY): Palumbo was consistent throughout his round, showing a simple and repeatable swing with good bat-to-ball skills and quickness to his hands. 

Benjamin Woodruff (2022 OF, Pilesgrove, NJ): Woodruff implored a middle-of-the field approach throughout his round, impacting the baseball with authority consistently. The primary outfielder implores a lofted stroke with good feel for the barrel and quick hands. 

Cristian Bernardini (2023 C, Manalapan Township, NJ): Bernardini is a quick twitch athlete with an impact hit tool. The primary catcher exhibits a simple approach with quick hands, the propensity to find the barrel and some legitimate gap-to-gap power. 

Nicolas Jos (2022 SS, Clifton Park, NY): Jos was able to put together a consistent round, while imploring a simple approach with good line drive barrel plane and quickness to his hands. Ryan Mogg (2021 1B, Stony Point, NY): Mogg is a strongly built first baseman with a smooth, loose left-handed stroke and power potential. He was able to consistently square up the ball throughout his round, producing loud impact to the middle and pull-side. 

Curtis Olender (2022 SS, Manahawkin, NJ): Olender showed a knack for finding the barrel often throughout his round, while using his long, lean frame to create tons of leverage out in front. The primary middle-infielder implores a lofted stroke with good feel for the barrel. 

Connor Strauss (2022 SS, Dover, DE): Strauss is an athletically built primary shortstop with loads of quick twitch and present strength. The right-hander exhibits a simple, repeatable swing with aggressive intent and excellent feel for the barrel. 

Nicolas Manee (2022 MIF, Kenilworth, NJ): Manee was able to put together an extremely consistent round, staying compact with his swing throughout and exhibiting advanced bat-to-ball skills. The primary middle-infielder stays within himself well, shooting line drives to all fields with ease. 

Nick Quagliato (2023 C, Neptune, NJ): Quagliato showed a good combination of physical strength and present bat speed, while driving the ball with authority to the gaps. 

Ryan Turner (2022 OF, Brick, NJ): Turner was impressive throughout his round, showing consistent bat-to-ball skills and the ability to drive the baseball with authority. The strongly built outfielder incorporates a simple swing with quick, loose hands and feel for the barrel. 

Michael Villani (2023 2B, Old Bridge, NJ): Villani was the model of consistency throughout his round, producing numerous line drives to all fields. He incorporates a whole field approach with advanced feel for the barrel and advanced bat-to-ball skills. 


White vs Black Game Highlights

2/19/2021

John Porter Wilsey (2022 C, Delanson, NY) has a tall physical frame with a good feel at the plate. Wilsey did a nice job letting ball travel and driving it to the middle/backside of the field.

Dylan Broderick (2023 SS, Royersford, PA) showed good fluid actions at the dish. Broderick has a simple operation with a compact violent actions l to go with it. He consistently gets the barrel out with loud contact to follow.

Ryan Gawley (2023 SS, Prt Washingtn, NY) showcased nice actions in the box letting the ball travel and working the barrel through the zone effectively. Gawley showed a loud barrel with a shot to right center.

Braden Walsh (2024 SS, Howell, NJ) showed likeable actions on the mound in his one inning of work. Walsh has a simple operation with a compact arm action running his fastball up to 78mph to go along with a nice chance of pace breaking ball at 69mph.





Red vs White Game Highlights

2/19/2021

Nicolas Jos (2022 SS, Clifton Park, NY) showed impressive actions at the plate. He operates from a slightly open stance with a leg kick consistently barreling up the baseball. Jos has a smooth and repeated swing with some physicality to go with it.

Cristian Bernardini (2023 C, Manalapan Township, NJ) was efficient at the plate making solid contact. He does a good job staying on the baseball working his hands through the zone. Bernardini showcased a smooth repeated swing finding barrels throughout. 

Nicolas Lorenzo (2023 2B, Maplewood, NJ) was efficient on the mound in his 1 inning of work getting his fastball up to 82mph to go along with a breaking ball at 67mph. Lorenzo has a smooth delivery and arm action which he repeats time and time again.

Benjamin Woodruff (2022 OF, Pilesgrove, NJ) showed good actions at the plate in his at-bats. Woodruff has a simple operation using a middle backside approach hitting a line drive single to right center. He does a good job staying in rhythm in the box and letting his hands work through the zone.  


Black vs Red Game Highlights

2/19/2021

Yatharth Kaushik (2022 RHP, Scotch Plains, NJ) was efficient on the mound in his 2 inning outing with a repeated delivery from a large 6-7 frame. Kaushik showed well getting his fastball up to 85mph with the breaking ball at 69mph. He showcased his mechanics with an effective arm action to follow.

Andrew Keller (2022 2B, Allentown, PA) showed good actions at the plate with a middle of the field approach. Keller has a short compact swing and quick hands translating hard contact to the middle/backside.

Reece Moroney (2023 SS, Fair Haven, NJ) showcased athlete actions throughout with flashes of physicality. Moroney uses a simple operation and has nice rhythm at the plate. 

Nicolas Manee (2022 MIF, Kenilworth, NJ) used repeated mechanics at the plate getting the barrel through the zone effectively. Manee showed violent actions with a good feel at the plate ripping a single through the pull-side.
