Brayden Metcalf (2024 SS, Gardner, KS) The Kansas native displayed good feel for the barrel with a naturally leveraged plane through extension. Metcalf consistently produced sharp contact to the middle of the field between the gaps.
Ty Southisene (2024 SS, Henderson, NV) Swung with intent and displayed a fluid swing path with present bat speed through extension. Utilized a gap to gap approach and consistently stayed behind the baseball at contact.
Wyatt Arellano (2024 C, Corona, CA) Displayed good carry off the barrel to the middle of the field with present strength at contact. Released the barrel head out front effectively that generated solid whip through the zone.
Tyler Covington (2024 OF, Aliso Viejo, CA) The 2024 outfielder showed good barrel control throughout the zone with solid hand speed to contact. Consistently struck the baseball with intent and showed the ability to work to all fields.
Sean Yamaguchi (2024 2B, Aiea, HI) The Hawaii native created good linear shift into contact with lower half that generated solid strength at contact. Consistently threw the barrel head to contact with intent generating good carry to pull side when squared.
Anthony Lira (2024 3B, Citrus Heights, CA) Displayed a fluid, repeatable swing plane with present bat speed. Stays behind the baseball well at contact with the ability to drive the ball to the gaps.
Amari Hackett (2025 RHP, Los Angelas, CA) The primary pitcher also impressed at the plate as well utilizing and clean, line drive barrel plane through extension. Flashed good hand quickness through the zone that allowed for all fields contact.
Evann Smith (2024 SS, Pacifica, CA) Smith displayed a balance approach with good feel for the barrel to all parts of the zone. Consistently repeated a line drive barrel working to all fields.
Drake Piersall (2024 3B, Riverton, UT) The 2024 grad showed consistently created loud contact off the barrel to the middle of the field and pull side gap. Piersall utilizes and naturally lifted barrel plane that generated tight back spin off the barrel.
