Trevor LaPres is a 2023 OF/RHP/1B with a 6-2 160 lb. frame from Las Vegas, NV who attends Lake Mead Christian Academy. Very long and lean frame with plenty of room to fill out. Ran a 6.90 second 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, takes a clean approach to the ball, fields it just off his front foot and funnels well to a longer arm action through an over the top release with some carry to his throws. Showed similar actions at first base with sound actions receiving the ball, good footwork into his turns and easy releases that produced clean throws across the diamond. Pitches as well, has a quick delivery working on line to the plate and getting downhill with the fastball from his over the top release; shows a similar release on the breaking ball with vertical bite and maintains his arm speed well on the changeup that showed short fading action to the arm side. Right-handed hitter, works steep to contact with good present bat speed; has some difficulty squaring the ball with his path but shows excellent impact strength when he squares it on a line to the middle of the field. Excellent student.
