Central (Gray) Game Highlights

8/4/2022

Mason Braun (2025, South Bend, IN) continued to impress at the plate with a loud barrel to the pullside. A clean, lofted path combines with a strong frame to produce advanced power that shows up often. 


Carter Kutz (2025, Hartford, WI) put together a strong performance throughout the day. Quick hands and a simple approach resulted in a hard hit line drive right back up the middle. Kutz also showed two-way potential, running the fastball up to 87 mph and showing feel for a quality breaking ball. 


Owen Marsolek (2025, Duluth, MN) also showcased strong two-way ability throughout the day. The lefthander pounded the zone with a low-80’s fastball and missed bats often with both a curveball and changeup. At the plate, a sound hit tool allowed for hard hit line drives to all fields. 


Max Berrisford (2025, Duluth, MN) displayed a simple, consistent swing that resulted in a hard hit ball back up the middle. The barrel gets on plane early with good extension out front. 


Jack Wheeler (2025, Morris, IL) showcased intriguing stuff on the mound. The righthander creates heavy armside run on a mid-80’s fastball and showed advanced feel for a fading change up. 


West (Gold) Game Highlights

William Hill (2025, Humble, TX) showcased advanced barrel accuracy that resulted in loud contact against tough arms. Strong hands help generate solid power that played to the pullside. 


Brock Silvers (2025, Middleton, ID) put together a well-rounded performance, showing strong two-way potential. The righthander ran the fastball into the mid-80’s and showed feel for a quality changeup. The slugger also displayed quick hands at the plate resulting in loud contact to the big part of the field. 


Malosi Mata’afa-Alferos (2025, Ewa Beach, HI) displayed a clean, easy swing with feel for the barrel present. A simple approach resulted in a hard hit ball back up the middle. 


Ethan Adams (2025, Parker, CO) put together a strong frame performance at the plate, finding multiple loud barrels to the big part of the field. Adams also showed two-way ability with a mid-80’s fastball with feel for a quality breaking ball. 


Nicholas Partida (2025, Manvel, TX) displayed a simple swing with the ability to produce hard hit line drives regularly. The right-handed hitter found a loud barrel right back up the middle during live ABs. 


Jackson Austin (2025, Guyton, GA) showed the ability to use his long levers to generate solid power to all fields. The right-handed slugger found a loud barrel during live ABs to the opposite field. 


Thomas Brown (2025, Livermore, CA) showcased loose hands capable of finding barrels often. It combined with a strong frame to produce hard hit line drives back up the middle. 


East (Red) Game Highlights

Alejandro Abreut (2025, Miami, FL) put together one of the stronger performances at the plate, finding multiple loud barrels. A strong frame and quick bat speed allows for balls to be hit hard consistently. 


Cristian De Los Santos (2025, Miami, FL) showed the ability to use a strong frame well in the box, driving balls with authority to all fields. A clean, lofted path allows the barrel to be found regularly. 


Evan Fernandez (2025, Palm Beach Gardens, FL) found multiple loud barrels throughout the day, showcasing advanced power that plays to all fields. A physical build helps drive balls with ease to the big part of the field. 


Zahir Barjam (2025, Orlando, FL) showcased advanced bat speed through the zone, resulting in hard contact to all fields. A loud barrel was found during live ABs with a hard hit ball to the opposite field. 


Jadyn Nunez (2025, Miami, FL) found multiple barrels throughout live ABs, showing the ability to drive the ball to all fields. Nunez also impressed on the mound, pairing a mid-80’s fastball with a sharp slider that generated whiffs. 


Sanders Dyer (2025, Cumming, GA) showcased a smooth, fluid stroke with the ability to drive balls with authority to the pullside. Quick hands allow Dyer to get to fastballs at the top of the zone. 


Eddie Tanner (2025, Hamilton, OH) showcased a simple swing resulting in a loud barrel to the pullside during live ABs. The righthander also showed two-way potential, running the fastball up to 86 mph and showing feel for a slider. 


USA (Royal) Game Highlights

8/4/2022

Evan Hankins (2025, Bristol, VA) showed off one of the more impressive two-way profiles at the event. The lefthander ran the fastball into the upper-80’s with a wipeout slider at times. A strong, powerful bat produced hard hit contact to all fields as well. 


MJ Allen (2025, Dacula, GA) displayed good feel for the barrel using a smooth lofted path, resulting in a hard hit ball to the pullside. A strong frame helps generate solid power that way. 


Samuel Harris (2025, Cary, NC) swung the bat with good intent resulting in multiple loud barrels. A strong frame helps generate solid power that plays to all fields. 


RJ Machado (2025, Sunrise, FL) utilized a simple swing to produce a hard hit line drive back up the middle. Quality bat to ball skills helps produce quality contact consistently. 


Luke Smyers (2025, Henrico, VA) showed the ability to stay through the big part of the field with a loud line drive back up the middle. Quick hands allows the barrel to get through the zone with intent. 


Blaize Ward (2025, Maumelle, AR) showcased an advanced hit tool with the ability to use the entire field, driving a ball with authority toward the opposite field gap during live ABs. Ward also displayed some two-way potential, showing feel for a three-pitch mix. 


Southeast (Purple) Game Highlights

8/4/2022

Mercer Hudson (2025, Midland, GA) uses a strong frame to generate easy power that plays to the big part of the field. The power showed up during live ABs with a loud barrel back up the middle. 


Jack Ruckert (2025, Baton Rouge, LA) displayed a sound two-strike approach with the ability to shorten up and line balls to the opposite field. Advanced barrel feel results in hard hit contact often. 


Cooper Smith (2025, Baton Rouge, LA) showcased the ability to go down and get pitches at the bottom of the zone, driving a ball hard to the pullside during live ABs. The left-handed hitter possesses solid strength with quick hands through the zone. 


Karson Trichel (2025, Monroe, LA) put together a couple of quality at-bats resulting in hard hit balls. Quick hands on a lofted path allows balls to be driven with authority in the air consistently. 


Myles Mayse (2025, Midlothian, TX) showed the ability to use a strong lower half to generate solid power that plays to the big part of the field. A lofted path with barrel lag through the zone allows the barrel to be found often.

Batting Practice Highlights

Thomas Brown (2025 Livemore, CA) loose swing with length through contact and tons of back spin off the barrel. All fields approach.

 

Luke Beeler (2025 Jenks, OK) showed easy juice from his right-handed swing and we have seen it play in-game a number of times.

 

Ethan Adams (Parker, CO) anchors the back leg and really torques the handle to create power.

 

Nicholas Partida (2025 Manvel, TX) really good bat to ball skills and hit a ton of liners to both gaps.

 

William Hill (2025 Humble, TX) has really quick hands and keeps a vertical bat through the zone to help the barrel stay in the zone. Really loud BP.

 

Mason Greenhouse (2025 Riverside, CA) has huge potential from both the hit tool and future power. The all fields use with impact is impressive.

 

Isaac Rojas (2025 Riverside, CA) has an explosive barrel and tons of carry when squared up. Lots of pop to the pull side.

 

Brock Silvers (2025 Middleton, ID) with significant power potential as his loose bottom hand creates a ton of loft potential as he spaces.

 

Hagen Wright (2025 Mesa, AZ) some of the biggest power of the night as he hit balls a long way to the track, even banging balls off the centerfield wall.

 

Darren Ledford (2025 Council Hill, OK) really strong and smooth stroke with lots of power potential to go with good timing.

 

Gavin Barr (2025 Forsyth, GA) with a good round from both sides of the plate showing solid bat to ball skills and an all fields approach.

 

Mason Braun (2025 South Bend, IN) strong frame with extra strong hands. Launches with authority and made the right field wall look small on some swings.

 

Carter Kutz (2025 Hartford, WI) gets leverage out front and showed vast power potential when on time and out front. Lots of pop.

 

John “JJ” Idrogo (2025 Tyler, TX) short and compact stroke with excellent hand speed after launch.

 

John Loudon (2025 Brookhaven, GA) with absolutely explosive hands to the ball. The consistency of hard liners was impressive.

 

Troy Ford (2025 Fayetteville, GA) excellent switch hitting tools with very good eye-hand coordination to go with his quick wrists.

 

Damien Gatson (2025 Mobile, AL) has a sweet left-handed stroke that produced a ton of hard contact to the middle of the field. Really consistent round.

 

Josh Gibbs (2025 Cumming, GA) so short and quick to the ball with good accuracy and a lot of pop coming from a slender frame.

 

Mercer Hudson (2025 Midland, GA) strong and athletic stroke with tons of carry to all fields. Stays behind it and attacks.

 

John Jordan (2025 Ocean Springs, MS) love the projection in the body and loose levers that will create easy carry as he consistently gets out front.

 

Clayton Kimball (2025 Zachary, LA) strong frame with a simple process. Uses the ground well to help create effortless bat speed.

 

Jack Ruckert (2025 Baton Rouge, LA) with a consistent round that was loud from start to finish. Really good carry to the middle and turned on pitches when needed.

 

Carson Trichel (2025 Monroe, LA) with a projectable body and massive left-handed power potential. Big intent.

 

Myles Mayse (2025 Midlothian, TX) so simple from both sides of the pate to create well above average pop and big carry off the barrel.

 

Caleb Barnett (2025 Mountain Brook, AL) showed huge bat speed and pull power, hitting some of the furthest balls of any right-handed hitter at the event.

 

Zahir Barjam (2025 Orlando, FL) torques the barrel so hard and the bat speed is real. The barrel comes off with big authority.

Henry Akopov (2025 Marietta, GA) has really strong hands and threw the barrel hard with good direction to produce a loud line drive oriented round.

 

Gabe Boyd (2025 Memphis, TN) finished strong with a handful of well-struck liners deep to the pull gap.

 

Evan Hankins (2025 Bristol, VA) has some of the biggest power in the class and tapped into it hitting hard liners to the pull side.

 

Samuel Harris (2025 Cary, NC) with a really good sequence and can adjust after launch with really good accuracy. Blistered balls all round.

 

Jamir Holloway (2025 Jonesboro, GA) with a lot of bat speed and intent in his swing and blasted liners as hard as anyone to the pull side.

 

John Phillip (JP) Abt (2025 Brandon, MS) does a really good job of holding angles and braking the front side to let the barrel fly through the zone and he hammered balls to both gaps.
