Clayton Kimball is a 2025 OF/RHP/1B with a 6-3 198 lb. frame from Zachary, LA who attends Central Private. Large, athletic frame with square shoulders and present strength proportioned throughout, additional room to fill moving forward. Primary outfielder, deliberate tempo to gather with an extra step moving into release, pulls it down well and works on top of throws, shows accuracy and carry to the intended base, ball comes out well. Right-handed hitter, begins with a balance stance and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate; subtle weight shift through lower half but remains simple with timing components. Strength in hands and remains compact with swing path while staying tight to the point of contact. Best when getting extended through the ball and turning on it to pull side, shows cary with jump off of the barrel. Physical strength at point of contact plays to all fields. Very good student.
