2012 Top Prospects

Raphael Andrades  OF - 2012 - Tallahassee, FL
Clark Atlanta University

The 6-foot-3, 190-pound outfielder posted a 6.43 60-yd has and threw 88 miles per hour from the outfielder. Andrades also utilized a very balanced swing plane with plenty of bat speed to produced consistent hard contact.


2013 Top Prospects

Jason Reyes  SS - 2013 - Bronx, NY
Concordia College (New York)

The Bronx native flashed very athletic actions throughout the day including a 6.76 sixty-yard dash. Reyes has impressive lateral range in the infield paired with good arm strength, topped at 91 miles per hour across the infield. The 5-foot-11 shortstop also flashed solid pop in his bat hammering a homerun to deep left field in game play.


2016 Top Prospects

Kieran Casey  RHP - 2016 - Jupiter, FL
Davidson/St. Petersburg College

The 6-foot-3, 218-pound right handed pitcher showed a very live arm through extension flashing a heavy fastball that topped at 94 miles per hour. Casey also utilized a sharp 12/6 curveball that proved to be very difficult for hitters to square.

Korry Howell  SS - 2016 - Lockport, IL
Iowa/Kirkwood CC

The Illinois native was another very athletic shortstop at the National Pre-Draft Showcase. Howell posted a 6.41 sixty-yard dash and showed a loose, smooth swing plane with the ability to hit to all fields.


2017 Top Prospects

Ethan Gallagher  OF - 2017 - Catonsville, MD
Wake Forest

The Wake Forest commit showed of his elite level bat speed and raw power throughout batting practice. Gallagher works through extension on a naturally lifted path, and produced multiple deep home runs from left field to deep left center field in batting practice.

John Swanda  RHP - 2017 - Des Moines, IA
Nebraska

The 6-foot-2, 185-pound right handed pitcher showed a very heavy running fastball that topped at 91 miles per hour. Showed very good command to each side of the plate and worked ahead of hitters quickly before using a sweeping 10/4 curveball as a put away pitch.

Ben Probst  RHP - 2017 - Urbandale, IA
Iowa

The University of Iowa commit showed a very easy, repeatable arm slot that produced a fastball that topped at 92 miles per hour. Fastball really jumped on hitter with solid downhill angle through the zone. Matches arm speed and arm slot very well with a 10/4 curveball that had sharp, late depth.

Ryan Glass  1B - 2017 - Mableton, GA
Northern Kentucky

The Georgia State commit had a very impressive day at the National Pre-Draft Showcase posting a 6.80 sixty-yard dash, topping at 86 across the infield and showing plenty of raw power at the plate. Glass crushed a pitch left over the inner half of the plate for a no doubt home run to deep left field in game play.

Nick Jodway  RHP - 2017 - Morganton, NC
Marshall/Howard College

The UNC-Wilmington commit utilized his lower half very well while driving to the plate and carried momentum through finish. Very quick arm through extension that produced good life through the zone topping at 93 miles per hour. Jodway also showed solid feel and command for his breaking ball down in the zone.

Izaya Fullard  3B - 2017 - North Liberty, IA
Iowa/Kirkwood CC

The uncommitted Ono-Fullard continued to show his pure ability to hit. The 5-foot-11 third baseman utilizes a linear lower half that produced excellent shift into contact. Showed very good feel for the barrel with the ability to generate rising line drives to all fields.

Connor McCaffery  OF - 2017 - North Liberty, IA
Iowa

The University of Iowa commit posted a 6.73 sixty-yard dash and smooth, athletic actions while moving to the baseball in the outfield. Standing at 6-foot-6, McCaffery has the ability to generate very good leverage at contact and drive the baseball with authority to the pull side gap.

Peter Ahn  SS - 2017 - Delafield, WI
Michigan State

The Michigan State commit showed a very pure, athletic swing plane that produced consistent hard contact to all fields. Flashed the hand quickness to turn the barrel to contact and work to pull side with authority as well.

Trey Leonard  OF - 2017 - Cedar Rapids, IA
Louisville

The Louisville commit posted a 6.39 sixty-yard dash and flashed very good range in the outfield with arm strength, topped at 86 miles per hour. At the plate Leonard utilized a level, line drive swing plane with solid barrel control throughout the zone.

Joey Wiemer  OF - 2017 - Temperance, MI
University of Cincinnati

The 6-foot-5 Cincinnati commit showed good arm strength from the outfield topping at 93 miles per hour. Also flashed solid bat speed and strength while at the plate producing good extension through contact when working to the middle of the field. Also showed potential on the mound featuring a fastball that topped at 90 miles per hour from a compact three-quarters arm slot.

Cameron Cratic  OF - 2017 - Madison, WI
Madison College

The Madison, Wisconsin native showed very athletic, clean actions in the outfield and posted a 6.65 sixty-yard dash. At the plate, Cratic has a fluid, repeatable swing plane with the bat speed and barrel control to work multiple pitch types to all fields.

Bradley Hanner  RHP - 2017 - Rapidan, VA
Patrick Henry CC

The 6-foot-3 right handed pitcher held velocity well in his two innings, working between 87-90 miles per hour. Hanner flashed a very deceptive arm action with slider offering that showed 9/4 sweeping shape. Consistently pounded the strike zone with both pitches while staying off barrels and inducing weak contact.

Gregory Bennett  MIF - 2017 - Peosta, IA
Middle Tennessee State/Iowa Western CC

The Iowa Western commit showed very athletic actions with good arm strength from the outfield, as well as in the infield. Bennett produced hard, rising line drives to the middle of the field throughout batting practice and posted a 6.52 sixty-yard dash.

Zach Huffins  OF - 2017 - West Lafayette, IN
Arizona State/Arizona Western College

The 6-foot-3, 182-pound outfielder posted a 6.45 sixty-yard dash and utilized a loose, line drive path while at the plate. Flashed the ability to generate good bat speed while turning the barrel to contact. Homered to deep left field in game play on an off speed pitch located on the inner half of the plate.

Noah Skirrow  RHP - 2017 - Stoney Creek, ON CAN
Liberty University

The Liberty commit showed a very good arm through extension from a mid three-quarters arm slot. Fastball generated good downward plane through the zone with heavy life topping at 92 miles per hour. Skirrow also utilized a two plane breaking ball that consistently kept hitters off balance throughout each inning of work.


2018 Top Prospects

Ian Bedell  RHP - 2018 - Davenport, IA
Missouri

The 2018 grad showed some of the best pure pitching ability while on the mound at the National Pre-Draft Showcase. Bedell features a fastball from a loose three-quarters arm slot that sat in the low 90's, topped at 93 miles per hour. Consistently changed speeds with a curveball, changeup mix with the ability and willingness to pitch backwards when needed.

Levi Usher  OF - 2018 - Fairfax, IA
Louisville/Kirkwood CC

The Fairfax, Iowa native posted two event best running a 6.24 sixty-yard dash and topping at 96 miles per hour from the outfield. At the plate, Usher utilized a direct path to contact with natural lift through extension.

Clayton Nettleton  RHP - 2018 - Davenport, IA
Kirkwood CC

Nettleton, a University of Iowa commit, utilized a smooth tempo delivery with an easily repeatable arm action. The 6-foot-3 right handed topped at 91 miles per hour with solid sink and run to arm side. Changed speed with an 11/5 curveball and fading changeup, each having a similar arm speed to fastball offering.

Brayden Frazier  IF - 2018 - Cedar Rapids, IA
Iowa

The Iowa commit posted two personal PG best's running a 6.76 sixty-yard dash and topping at 90 miles per hour across the infield. At the plate, Frazier showed present bat speed with raw power that generated hard line drives to both gaps with solid carry.
