The 6-3/180 infielder is starting to fill out and had a noticeable uptick in bat speed during the event. He has a smooth stroke and jump to the pulls side. There is real upside on both sides of the ball for Baez. He brings defensive versatility, but could easily stay on the left side of the diamond.
