Robert Fernandez is a 2021 RHP/ with a 6-1 200 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Belen Jesuit Prep. Large physical build with room to still strengthen as he continues to develop. Pitcher only, has a short and quick arm action that fires from a high three-quarters slot. Quick motion, finds good extension down the hill. 83-87 mph fastball touches 88 and gets in onto the hands of hitters. Fastball possesses good arm side run and downward angle to the plate. Shows an ability to manipulate his 10-to-4 shaped slider. Can throw it over the plate for strikes as well as down and out of the zone as an out pitch. Lives in the bottom half of the zone, competes with every pitch. Excellent student in the classroom as well.
