Nicholas Rodriguez
C - 2023 - Miami, FL
South Florida
Rodriguez really showed his athleticism well defensively across the whole spectrum of positions and especially at catcher. He has a big left handed swing that produces present power and was very well timed in the games.
Shamaar McDuffie
SS - 2023 - Hampton, GA
Kennesaw State
McDuffie is a fun player to watch play defense in the middle of the field, with advanced balance and hands and the ability to make every play. His 93 mph arm strength in drills was a positive jump from past events, too.
Derek Curiel
OF - 2024 - West Covina, CA
Louisiana State
The number one player in the 2024 class, Curiel is winding down a busy summer but still playing the game with his usual big smile and smooth athletic actions. He's fun to watch every time we see him.
Noah Franco
OF - 2024 - Bradenton, FL
TCU
The top ranked player in the 2025 class showed off a different tool than usual in San Diego, hosing two runners at the plate with perfect strikes, one from left field and the other from right field.
Anson Seibert
RHP - 2024 - Overland Park, KS
Tennessee
The 6-8/230 Seibert toyed with some of the best hitters in the 2024 class, striking out all six hitters he faced, primary with a well-controlled 90-93 mph fastball that jumped on hitters. He flashed a high spin rate 82 mph slider that was nasty for one of the strikeouts.
Elijah Clayton
SS - 2024 - Westlake Village, CA
California
The son of long-time big league shortstop Royce Clayton, Elijah Clayton is on the short list for being the top defensive infielder in the 2024 class. He made big league plays at all three infield positions and showed outstanding first step quickness and very advanced actions.
Cade Arrambide
C - 2024 - Tomball, TX
Louisiana State
Arrambide is the top ranked catcher in the 2024 class and it's easy to see why with his cannon arm and easy actions. He was equally impressive at this event as a right fielder and right-handed hitter.
Boston Bateman
LHP - 2024 - Camarillo, CA
Louisiana State
Bateman is a huge human being at every bit of 6-7/250 but has a well coordinated and low effort rotational delivery that he repeats very well. He worked in the 90-93 mph range with a 78 mph curveball that he tunneled very well with his fastball.
William Schmidt
RHP - 2024 - Baton Rouge, LA
Louisiana State
Schmidt was one of the big surprises of the games as the 6-3/170 Louisiana native topped out at 91 mph with a nasty near 3,000 rpm curveball that completely over matched hitters while landing regularly in the strike zone. This is a high ceiling young talent.
Michael Mullinax
OF - 2024 - Canton, GA
Georgia
Mullinax is a tooled up, fast twitch athlete with big arm strength, tons of bat sped and plus running speed. The speed dominates his game now but it won't be long until the power really starts to shine.
Matthew Priest
OF - 2024 - San Diego, CA
Southern California
Priest's explosive athleticism had scouts and college coaches full attention every trip to the plate, whether it was to see his huge raw bat speed or his top of the scale (4.07 home to first) running speed.
Trey Snyder
SS - 2024 - Kearney, MO
Tennessee
Snyder has a very nice balance of offensive and defensive tools for a middle infielder and it wouldn't be surprising to see his right handed bat really take off over the next year. He has both bat speed and outstanding barrel skills.
Matthew Champion
RHP - 2024 - Laguna Niguel, CA
Oregon
Champion has a strong right handed bat with plenty of power potential but he really stood out at third base defensively and it wouldn't be surprising if there weren't some light Nolan Arrenado comps in the future. He was also 91 mph off the mound.
Braden Booth
RHP - 2024 - Madison, AL
Mississippi State
Booth worked 89-91 mph with his fastball but his slider was one of the more impressive breaking balls at the Games. The Mississippi State commit threw it hard, up to 83 mph, with sharpness and some depth and got plenty of S/M on the pitch.
Drew Dickerson
SS - 2024 - Lee’S Summit, MO
Oklahoma
Dickerson stands out for his athletic 6-4/198 build and the Missouri commit was one of the offensive stars of the event. His no doubt home run the last day to left centerfield, where no balls carried the entire event, stood out, but the right-handed slugger also almost hit another bomb earlier and added a firm single to right field.
Perry Hargett
SS - 2024 - Peachland, NC
North Carolina
Hargett is one of the fastest players in the 2024 class and that speed and athleticism shows especially well in the middle infield on defense. His bat speed has continued to improve all summer as he gets stronger.
David Hogg II
SS - 2024 - Mansfield, TX
Louisiana State
Hogg has the whole tool box as an athletic middle infielder, with sub 6.5 speed, a big throwing arm and plus right handed bat speed.
Maximo Martinez
SS - 2024 - Hawthorne, CA
Southern California
Martinez came to the Games as a primary middle infielder but may have left as a primary right handed pitcher. He dominated for two innings of all strikes, topping out at 92 mph with a nice slider as his second pitch.
Anthony Perritano
SS - 2024 - San Diego, CA
Southern California
Perritano has nice athleticism and smooth actions in the middle infield but stood out for his right handed bat the most. The Southern California commit has present bat speed and very good hands through contact.
Ariston Veasey
OF - 2024 - Tyrone, GA
Alabama
Veasey has a big weapon in his right arm, where he threw 88 from behind the plate and 91 from the mound, with lots more in there. But he's a quality all around athlete who could develop either as a hitter or a pitcher.
Kalen Applefield
C - 2024 - Carlsbad, CA
California
Applefield has the athleticism and defensive chops to stay behind the plate moving forward but he really made his mark at this event with his switch-hitting ability. He has bat speed and plus power potential from both sides of the plate and squared up everything.
Drey Barrett
SS - 2024 - Deatsville, AL
University of Southern Mississippi
Barrett is a 6-3/190 primary shortstop who likely ends up at third base as he fills in and gets stronger. He had a quick inning of work on the mound and looks like a quality two-way prospect, with nice arm speed on a 90 mph fastball and a 77 mph slider.
Ross Clark
RHP - 2024 - Brea, CA
Grand Canyon
The 6-5/195 Clark is one of the most projectable pitchers in the class, with easy well paced mechanics and the ability to throw three quality pitches for strikes. He was up to 89 mph this outing and his fastball might have been his third most effective pitch.
Gavin Kelly
C - 2024 - Presto, PA
West Virginia
Kelly is a middle infielder who also does some catching but it looked like his best tool was his right handed bat. The West Virginia commit squared up everything for two days and showed his power potential well.
Eddie Rynders
SS - 2024 - Wind Lake, WI
Kent State
Rynders has some of the smoothest actions in the 2024 class offensively and especially on defense. When he adds strength to his 6-2/175 frame, watch out.
Levi Sterling
RHP - 2024 - Los Angeles, CA
Texas
Sterling has lots of tools and potential as a middle infielder but it's hard not to like the 6-4/185 Californian's future on the mound. He worked up to 90 mph with two quality breaking balls and plenty of physical projection.
Levi Clark
C - 2024 - Marietta, GA
Tennessee
Clark is an advanced defensive catcher who has big arm strength as well as very good blocking skills. He's a right handed hitter with pop in his bat and a Tennessee commit.
Jack Haferkamp
OF - 2024 - Carlsbad, CA
UC Santa Barbara
The 6-4/185 Haferkamp was one of the more projectable players at the Games but despite a frame that can easily hold 20+ more pounds of muscle, he had tons of present bat speed and barrel whip. The UC Santa Barbara commit will be fun to watch develop.
Cole Hansen
C - 2024 - Norco, CA
Oklahoma
Hansen made one of the top defensive plays of the Games, nailing a runner at second base at 1.88 with a perfect throw. He's a strong player at 6-0/210 with very good overall athleticism.
Aukai (Jaydon) Kea
C - 2024 - Kapolei, HI
Vanderbilt
Kea has some of the fastest and most explosive hands one will ever see on a high school junior and 100+ exit velocities are a normal thing for the big Hawaiian right-handed hitter.
Cade O'Leary
RHP - 2024 - Knoxville, TN
Mississippi State
Oleary has a lean 6-4/175 build and an easy and repeatable set of mechanics. He threw four quality pitches for strikes, including an 88-89 mph fastball, a tight slider, a curveball and nice change up.
Eddie Peters
SS - 2024 - La Crescent, MN
Xavier
Peters is a fundamentally sound middle infielder on defense but his best tool at present is his right handed bat. He has a very smooth swing with present bat speed and lots of extension through contact.
Drew Rogers
C - 2024 - Tempe, AZ
Georgia Tech
Rogers is a power/power catcher with an extra strong 6-0/215 build and has plus arm strength to go with plus raw power. There's big whip in his right handed swing.
Blaine Rowland
RHP - 2024 - Plant City, FL
Florida
Rowland is a strong bodied right hander with a fastball that worked up to 91 mph. His best pitch was a 78-81 mph slider that gets big sweeping shape and that he lands well for strikes.
Alexander Umland
RHP - 2024 - Los Angeles, CA
Oregon
Umland has a profile 6-4/190 young pitchers build and tons of physical projection. He showed outstanding command of a very lively 86-88 mph fastball and both a curveball and slider and is a strong bet to keep improving in all areas.
Tyler Acevedo
SS - 2024 - Middletown, NY
Mississippi
Acevedo has outstanding bat speed with very quick hands driving his swing. It's a simple swing that maximizes hard line drive contact. He profiles as an offensive second baseman at the next level.
Paul Jones II
1B - 2024 - Burnsville, MN
Maryland
There is no mistaking that Jones' tool is his left handed bat and power and it performed, as the Minnesota resident lined a hanging slider off the UCSD scoreboard for an impressive home run.
Ben Reiland
2B - 2024 - Villa Park, CA
Oklahoma State
Reiland is a quick twitch athlete with plus range and outstanding balance at second base on defense. He's a left handed hitter with a high contact/high performance hitting approach.
Will Sanford
RHP - 2024 - San Diego, CA
Oregon
Sanford is a quality all around athlete with a big right arm on the mound. He dominated during his two innings of work, filling up the zone with a complete four pitch mix, including a fastball that topped out at 91 mph and has been up to 93 this summer.
Luke (LT) Taylor
C - 2024 - Holladay, UT
Southern California
Taylor's big tool is his right handed bat. He takes a full cut with big bat speed and plenty of lift on his swing and the ball comes off the barrel loudly. He's quick and agile defensively behind the plate.
Sam Erickson
OF - 2024 - Flower Mound, TX
Texas A&M
Erickson has an intriguing combination of power and speed, with a big right handed swing that creates serious whip and lift and sub 6.5 speed in the 60. He's a rare Bat Right/Throw Left athlete.
Beau Hollins
1B - 2024 - Lexington, SC
South Carolina
Hollins looks the part of the left handed hitting slugger with his super strong 6-4/215 frame. His swing handles velocity very well with an aggressive pull side approach and lots of lift.
Nolan Traeger
C - 2024 - Spring, TX
TCU
Traeger has a nice combination of defensive and offensive skills and has the added advantage of being a left handed hitter. His game throws were in the 1.96-2.00 range and he showed a strong middle of the field line drive approach at the plate.
Grady Woodward
OF - 2024 - Redmond, WA
University of Washington
The 6-3/190 Woodward, a Washington resident and commit, may have been the top performer of the Games. He lined three hard hits to left field, including a double up the alley, and made a brilliant diving catch in center field that ended up as a double play.
Jackson Barberi
RHP - 2024 - Snellville, GA
Florida
Barberi is still 15 years old and looks it with his very slender 6-2/160 build. He worked in the 85-88 mph range for three innings with a big breaking slider as his most effective pitch and there's plenty more to come in his velocity as he matures physically.
Roberto Barreto
RHP - 2024 - Quebradillas, PR
Southern/St. Petersburg College
Barreto is a long and projectable 6-4/190 Puerto Rican who showed nice agility at third base on defense and plenty of projection on offense.
Gavin Braland
C - 2024 - Hampton, GA
South Carolina
Braland has the tools to catch but also to play all over the field defensively as well. His best tool might be his power, though, as he takes a big cut and has performed all summer.
Andrew Johnson
RHP - 2024 - San Juan Capistrano, CA
Southern California
Johnson has a projectable 6-3/195 build and two solid pitches in a fastball that was mostly 88-89 mph and a 72 mph curveball that had tight spin and picked up a few strikeouts for him.
Ishaan Khambal
RHP - 2024 - Fremont, CA
Uncommitted
Khambal is a polished right hander with three solid pitches in a very high spin rate 87-90 mph fastball (2600+), a hard slider he lands well and a nice change up.
Nathan Motl
SS - 2024 - Sioux Falls, SD
Kirkwood CC
A South Dakota resident, Motl really impressed defensively in the middle infield with his smooth athletic actions and even some flair to his play making.
Anderson Nance
RHP - 2024 - Eden, NC
North Carolina State
Nance is a two-way prospect as a sure handed middle infielder with quick actions and a right handed pitcher who was up to 91 mph with a good curveball.
Lucas Ramirez
OF - 2024 - Weston, FL
Tennessee
It's easy to see the power potential in Ramirez' 6-3/195 frame with his loose and easy swing and feel for the barrel.
Eli Driskell
RHP - 2024 - Mobile, AL
Auburn
Driskell is a strong bodied right hander who worked in the 88-90 mph zone with good command. He threw both a curveball and slider with very different shapes, with the slider being the better present pitch.
Dylan Fien
C - 2024 - Temecula, CA
UCLA
The older of the two Fien brothers at the Games, Dylan shares the same big tool, the bat as his younger brother, Gavin, but a switch-hitter with a bigger and stronger build that promises lots of future power.
Theo Kim
SS - 2024 - San Diego, CA
UC Irvine
Kim is a switch-hitting infielder with barrel skills on both sides of the plate and tons of physical projection remaining. He really swung the bat well in the games.
Reggie Sharpe
SS - 2024 - Grosse Pointe Park, MI
Michigan State
Sharp was the smallest player at the event but as is usually the case, came up big during the games. He squares up everything at the plate, especially from the left side, and is an aggressive base runner.
Josh Springer
C - 2024 - Corona, CA
Oregon
Springer showed his strong right handed bat very well in the games, consistently pulling the ball with authority and jump off the barrel. He has good quickness and arm strength behind the plate.
Tristan Bristow
RHP - 2024 - Helotes, TX
Vanderbilt
Bristow is a lean and projectable 6-3/180 right hander with fastball that gets nice cutting action and a big breaking curveball. He was up to 88 mph in San Diego but worked 89-92 mph last month in Georgia.
Eric Lintelman
RHP - 2024 - West Chester, PA
Elon
Lintelman is a very good athlete with a strong right arm on the mound. He topped out at 90 mph with surprising downhill angle for a 5-10 pitcher and showed lots of depth and bite on an upper 70's slider
Nash Wagner
RHP - 2024 - Zionsville, IN
Alabama
Wagner is a high level two-way prospect as a 6-5/210 right handed pitcher/outfielder. He was up to 90 mph on the mound and picked up a couple of pull side doubles at the plate.
Dean Moss
OF - 2025 - Atherton, CA
Louisiana State
Moss looks much more athletic than he did even at the beginning of the summer and it showed in the powerful left-handed hitter's defense. He made outstanding catches running into the fence in both right and left field.
Vaughn Neckar
RHP - 2025 - Murrieta, CA
Louisiana State
Neckar is still listed as a primary third baseman but is definitely a pitcher. The extra strong 6-3/215 right hander worked in the 91-93 mph range with a big breaking 78 mph curveball and was an intimidating presence on the mound.
Gavin Fien
3B - 2025 - Temecula, CA
Texas
The younger Fien brother stood out with his right handed bat, as he has an already polished swing with outstanding hand action and nice bat speed for a young player.
Michael Furmanek
RHP - 2025 - Plainfield, IL
Uncommitted
Furmanek stands 6-6/180 and comes at hitters from a low 3/4's to side arm release point. The higher the release point, the more movement he had on a very projectable fastball that reached 88 mph with more to come.
