Levi Sterling is a 2024 SS/RHP/C with a 6-4 185 lb. frame from Los Angeles, CA who attends Notre Dame. Long and lean athletic build that really projects well. Primary middle infielder but has consistently shown that he has a higher ceiling on the mound. Has a prototype long and projectable pitcher's build, slow to fast mechanics with an easy and loose arm, nice extension out front on release. Fastball topped out at 90 mph, gets on hitters quickly, lots more velocity there in the future. Threw both a curveball and a slider, slider was the better present pitch with late and sharp biting action, also flashed a change up. Threw strikes with all his pitches and had an easy inning. Third base tools on defense, tends to reach for the ball in the infield, showed his arm strength very well from both the infield and outfield. Right handed hitter, has a smooth shift into contact, hits under control, comfortable and easy swing with some separation through contact, bat speed will continue to improve as he gets stronger. Good student, verbal commitment to Texas. Named to the PG Underclass All-American Games Top Prospect List.
