Michael O'Brien
OF - 2023 - River Ridge, LA
Mississippi State
O'Brien made a lasting impression on those in attendance as he was impressive in just about every facet all event long. It's a quick twitch athletic profile and he can really play. He took a strong batting practice round showing big bat speed and impact to the pull side, which translated to multiple hits in game action, he was up to 90 from the outfield which played in him hosing a runner at 3B and he also hopped on the mound and worked near the mid-80s with a really quick shoulder and a swing-and-miss slider.
Caylon Dygert
RHP - 2023 - Magnolia, TX
University of Texas at Arlington
Dygert had a good summer and he's got some intrigue as a two-way with pretty strong upside on the mound. He opened in the 88-89 range, settling slightly lower, with a clean and athletic delivery, good life to the fastball, a tight slider at 78-79 that can miss bats and a sidespinning changeup that he can dive under barrels. There's also some strength in a loose right-handed stroke and the arm strength plays behind the dish where he's also comfortable.
Brock Thorndell
RHP - 2023 - Hockley, TX
Midland College
Thorndell brings a power profile to the mound as there's already good arm strength that makes it heavy stuff. He worked in the 87-89 range for the most part while showing some projection on the breaking ball while he also was up to 93 on throws from the outfield and showed some feel and impact strength on the offensive end.
Diego Diaz
SS - 2023 - Pharr, TX
Texas San Antonio
Diaz, committing to UTSA just hours after the event, has a good combination of tools and overall feel. He's athletic up the middle with arm strength up to 87, which he was also up to on the mound with feel for 2 breaking balls, and it's an accurate barrel from the left side with projectable bat speed and overall handle of it.
Ryan Ursery
LHP - 2023 - White Hall, AR
Crowder College
Ursery brought one of the toughest looks to the mound of the entire event and it should certainly intrigue recruiters as he could get a ton of important outs at the next level. He's up to 85, and holds it, with extreme angle to the release which makes it really tough for hitters and he filled the zone at over a 70% rate while also showing a ton of comfort spinning a sharp sweeping breaking ball from the same slot.
Austin Haley
3B - 2023 - Sherman, TX
Murray State College
Haley fits in that category of good foundation tools and feel that projects into someone that fits at the next level. He's 6-1 with good range on the dirt for a third baseman, has arm strength up to 87 across and on the mound and has quick wrists with a feel to get the ball in the air with a short quick launch at impact on the offensive end.
Trace Mazon
SS - 2023 - Aledo, TX
Weatherford College
Mazon showed some intrigue with the glove and bat during workouts and was solid during the game portion in both aspects as well. It's a balanced approach with good rhythm, bat speed and looseness in the swing while he's rangey with a solid glove and mid-80s arm across.
Braylon Brooks
SS - 2024 - Tuttle, OK
Oklahoma State
Brooks is tooled up and an explosive athlete as a whole. He's a good athlete in terms of his run and versatility, was up to 94 from the outfield and 90 across the infield and it's an explosive offensive profile with fast hands, lots of bat speed and the ability to impact the ball pretty hard already in game.
Nolan Belcher
C - 2024 - Jonesboro, AR
Kentucky
Belcher performed well both in the workout portion and in game action. He was very good behind the dish, showing low-80s arm strength and pops at 1.90 on the bag while the handle of the barrel and strength to the profile translated well to game as he racked up multiple hits, most of which were hit pretty hard.
Dawson Cleveland
C - 2024 - Murphy, TX
Cisco Junior College
Cleveland was one of the more impressive prospects on the defensive end as he's got high-end catch-and-throw skills behind the dish and showed it all event long. Offensively it's a repeatable approach with quick wrists and some strength off impact already.
Austin Hardy
SS - 2024 - Spring, TX
Uncommitted
Hardy had a solid event all-around as he can make his impact felt in a number of ways. He's a smooth defender on the dirt with arm strength up to 84 across while the quickness in the bat and the overall comfort at the plate had him rack up a couple hits the other way.
Michael Bell
RHP - 2024 - Fort Worth, TX
Uncommitted
Bell is a projectable right-hander who has made some strides in terms of the sharpness of the full mix. He was up to 87 working downhill from a long but fast arm and he'll get some dive to the changeup while the breaking ball has gotten a decent bit sharper and he showed more comfort with it in this look.
Rodney Haywood
OF - 2024 - Lewisville, TX
Uncommitted
Haywood is a quick-twitch athlete which he showed offensively with plenty of bat speed and some flashes of hard impact to the pull side in his BP round while it also translated into him generating throws clocked up to 90 mph with carry to bags from the outfield.
Braden Klug
LHP - 2025 - Cypress, TX
Uncommitted
Klug was really impressive in terms of the foundation he shows for moving forward. He worked up to 88 from the left side from a long and loose arm with good present arm speed and there's a decent bit of carry already while he already can spit it fairly well with good depth and spin at 21-2200 RPMs.
James “Will” McKinzie
SS - 2025 - New Waverly, TX
Uncommitted
McKinzie has proven himself on the circuit as a solid performer and he does a lot of things well and easy. He's a solid defender on the dirt with arm strength up to 84 across while he swings it with a ton of ease and looseness from the right side showing good bat to ball skills and easy projection as he strengthens.
Tanner Carson
3B - 2025 - Southlake, TX
Uncommitted
Carson is another with a solid foundation of feel and tools and the physicality should carry the profile. He's 6-3/195 and got into it well during BP and in game action as he backspins the baseball well and shows some impact off the barrel already.
Holden Hering
RHP - 2025 - College Station, TX
Texas Tech
Hering filled in for a couple innings on the mound and it's a good profile moving forward. He's got good size at 6-4/200 and is already peaking in the mid-80s with the fastball while showing solid feel for changeup and curveball, both of which project and he throws with maintained intent.
Kooper Benoit
RHP - 2026 - Groves, TX
Uncommitted
Benoit was the youngest player at the event and although the stuff wasn't loud in comparison, it was a good mix for a prospect just entering high school. He filled the zone with 3 pitches, holding 80-81 with the fastball while showing a mid-70s changeup and a good go-to in his slider at 73-74 with a deep tunnel already and late hard bite.
