GOLD VS WHITE

Joshua Atomanczyk (2024, Franklin, Texas) got Day 2 rolling with an infield single.

Caden Baker (2024, Houston, Texas) led off the fifth with an infield single. Conner Cramer (2024, Conroe, Texas) added another infield knock immediately after, but Baker was gunned down at third on a stellar play from Cash Casas (2024, La Vernia, Texas).

Trace Mazon (2023, Aledo, Texas) followed that with a well struck ball up the middle, but Michael O’Brien’s (2023, River Ridge, Louisiana) throw was on the money to nail Logan at 3B. James “Will” McKinzie (2025, New Waverly, Texas) was able to barrel one up in the second inning and send one to the opposite field for a single.

In the bottom half, Ben Coke (2024, Bullard, Texas) sent a line shot into center field. On the next pitch, Austin Hardy (2024, Spring, Texas) went the other way for a base hit to right, but a strong throw from Blake Hall hosed the runner at the plate to save a run.

Thomas Mulkern (2024, Frisco, Texas) had a leadoff base hit in the third.

In the fourth, Kooper Benoit (2026, Groves, Texas) did a nice job of fighting off an inside fastball, driving it to the opposite field for a base hit.
