Austin Hardy is a 2024 SS/RHP with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Spring, TX who attends Klein Oak. Medium frame with a lean athletic build, room to fill out. Ran a 7.08 second 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, good athlete with lots of lateral quickness, plays well to the ball with clean and efficient angles, good glove work out front, funnels into short arm stroke and has a good arm across, up to 84 on throws, arm strength plays well. Right-handed hitter, even base and clean setup, starts tight with the hands and stays very compact through the zone, tons of hand speed and generates a lot of quickness, finds the barrel at a consistent rate and is accurate with it as a whole. Hits well in game action, comes off well to the pull side, hammered a double off the pull side wall in a big spot in game. Outstanding student.
