4-Black vs 7-Orange

6/7/2023

Will Klein (2027 RHP, Portland, OR) follows up a very impressive showing on the bump in yesterday's action with a solid LD piece to right field for a knock. Nice piece back up the middle in his next AB for another single. Klein with yet ANOTHER barrel in his third AB, roping one to LF.

Johnny Komarowsky (2027 3B, Denver, CO) continues to mash, banging a long single off the LF fence early on here. Above average strength at impact for the age, obvious handle of the barrel. Showing good actions at the hot corner as well. Put a charge in one over the LF's head for a nice standup double. Natural feel to impact the baseball. Last AB of the day.... hits a bomb over the CF fence.

Dylan Langstaff (2027 1B, Castle Rock, CO) picks up a LD knock in the one, following up a bomb he hit to dead center in yesterday's competition. Ridiculous body projection; took a turn on the bump, 78-mph fastball and mixing in a 70-mph CH that kills spin with a vertical CB.

Eric Sabala (2027 SS, Scottsbluff, NE) has swung it well all weekend, catching barrels in a lot of his AB's and that hasn't changed today. Smaller frame but athletic actions and flair to his game, has a good idea in the box.

Jacob Holm (2027 SS, Colorado Springs, CO) showing very crisp actions out at short with accurate throws across that produce carry. Picked up a solid knock in game as well.

Brady Wright (2027 3B, Denver, CO) has collected two solid line drive singles in this one, showing off above average barrel control paired with crisp defensive actions up the middle.

Jake Clark (2027 2B, Denver, CO) gets a center cut heater and doesn't miss, scorching a 2B right off the top of the CF wall.

Cole Bobbin (2027 3B, Highlands Ranch, CO) goes the other way with a heater for a ground rule double; solid actions all over both in the box and on bump.

5-Gray vs 6-Green

6/7/2023

Josh Byler (2027 3B, Castle Rock, CO) gets it going early for Gray, slapping a backside RBI double right down the line. Next AB, laces another 2B to the LCF gap. Solid approach and swing with some bat speed to pair.

Tyler Johnson (2027 LHP, Grand Junction, CO) split the RCF gap to drive in a run. Showing some intriguing two-way components after a very impressive appearance on the bump yesterday.

Jackson Bernosky (2027 C, Aurora, CO) continues displaying clean defensive actions across the left side of the infield with soft hands and a plus arm across for the age; up to 83-mph on the bump yesterday as throws produce carry. Continues to make the plays as the game progresses. Collects a poke back up the middle for a single. Cut down a runner trying to steal 2B with a throw on the money.

Cooper Vais (2027 SS, Arvada, CO) bumped 82-mph a few times and operated 78-81 with comfort to both sides. Good idea of the zone, real feel to spin both a CB/SL with spin rates up to 2300. Wiry, athletic frame to grow into with pitchability present for the class.

Advait Jadhav (2027 RHP, Castle Pines, CO) followed up a nice appearance on the bump yesterday with a blistered 2B into the RCF gap. Sat on spin next AB, picking up the curve out of the hand and lacing it through the 6 hole for a knock. Picks up yet another knock, this time a single through the right side. Athletic play at 1B jumping full extension and bringing down a throw from 3B for the putout.

Ashton Santomo (2028 OF, Highlands Ranch, CO) continues to swing it well, picking up two knocks on the day after depositing a bomb over the LF fence in yesterday's action. Picked up another solid LD barrel for a single here in the late innings. Evident bat to ball skills, good frame as a '28 with very projectable actions.

Mason McCormick (2027 SS, Eagle, CO) juices a double over the LF's head for a standup double. Athletic frame with lean strength, really projects with added size.

6-Green vs 7-Orange

6/6/2023

Henry Christy (2027 SS, Denver, CO) had a nice well rounded outing, juicing a 2B to the LCF gap and pitching effectively to weak contact on the bump. Fastball operated low 70's T74, mixed in 12/6 curveball as well with some feel to spin for strikes.

Tyler Johnson (2027 LHP, Grand Junction, CO) displayed a ton of pitchability in his three inning stint. Filled up the zone and pounded the heater off the hands of RHH's with a cutting FB 70-74, tunneled the sweeping curveball well off this for whiffs and strikeouts. Intriguing arm, good follow with added strength and size.

Jaden Scott (2027 SS, Parker, CO) put a charge in a 2B down the PS line to get his squad rolling early on.

Cooper Vais (2027 SS, Arvada, CO) scorched a double over the CF's head; paired this with really clean and comfortable actions out at shortstop.

Aziah Gonzales (2027 SS, Albuquerque, NM) destroyed a cement mixer CB for a bomb over the left field fence. Saw spin again next AB, made the adjustment mid flight and barreled it up really hard for a LD putout in the outfield.

Will Klein (2027 RHP, Portland, OR) put a ton of projectable actions and arm talent on display. Four seam bumped 78-mph early, ton of feel to spin the curveball that had consistent healthy shape and depth. Cut the fastball on occasion, struck out a handful as well; good body to grow into with repeatable mechanics.

4-Black vs 5-Gray

6/6/2023

Cole Bobbin (2027 RHP, Highlands Ranch, CO) showed some intrigue on the bump, getting the fastball up to 78-mph and flashing the ability to cut/sink it at times. Wiry frame, athletic actions that project well moving forward.

Larry Crawford (2027 OF, Highlands Ranch, CO) Nice 2B to the RCF gap, moved well around the paths with some underway speed. Extremely impressive on the mound, ran it up to 82 with occasional arm side run and mixed in upper 60's CB with sweep/depth. Clean mechanics, hid it very well and had good arm speed... very good showing.

Johnny Komarowsky (2027 3B, Denver, CO) sat back on a good CB and lined it through the 6 hole for a knock. Next AB, he sits back on a center cut fastball and touches off on a bomb over the CF fence. Good showing in the box, has some ability to pick up on pitches out of the hand with strength at impact.

Dylan Langstaff (2027 1B, Castle Rock, CO) joined in on the HR party and picked up one of his own, putting another one over the wall in dead center. Plus frame for the age with lean strength.

Dalton Marsh (2027 SS, Lakewood, CO) picked up two doubles in the contest, both to the backside gap. 6'1 frame with a ton of room to fill, found the barrel a good bit today.

Ashton Santomo (2028 OF, Hghlnds Ranch, CO) with one of the most impressive pieces of the day, touching off on a 78-mph heater for a homerun over the LF fence. '28 with a great frame, showed he can handle some velo in relation to his age/class.

Elijah Whitfield (2028 SS, Highlands Ranch, CO) put a charge in one, sending a LD over the CF's head for a nice standup double.

Jackson Bernosky (2027 C, Aurora, CO) with some interesting arm talent on the bump; up to 83-mph with the four seam while mixing in a nice mid 60's curveball that got considerable depth. Healthy shape on all offerings, strong kid with a quick arm stroke that had a feel to pitch.

Advait Jadhav (2027 RHP, Castle Pines, CO) flashed a well rounded three pitch mix. Moved the fastball around the zone up to 79, killed considerable spin on a diving changeup ~64 and rounded it out with a 2-plane slider at 68.

Batting Practice Highlights

6/6/2023

Cole Bobbin (2027 RHP, Highlands Ranch, CO) successfully got the barrel out in front throughout his round, showcasing a pull side line drive approach with contact tool present. The 5-foot-9, 140 pound frame for the ‘27 prospect should continue to develop and further build on the tools already present.

Larry Crawford (2027 OF, Highlands Ranch, CO) displayed a wider base from the left batters box with flashes of compact hand speed to drive baseballs to the pull side right centerfield gap. The strong framed 5-foot-11, 165 pound lefty created leverage in the stroke with developing power already present.

Jacob Holm (2027 SS, Colorado Springs, CO) started from a narrower open base at the dish with clear hand speed through the zone that generated loud impact gap to gap. The 5-foot-11, 145 pound frame has evident strength in the lower half that can already drive baseballs to the wall on any given pitch.

Advait Jadhav (2027 RHP, Castle Pines, CO) repeated his stroke well utilizing a toe tap trigger with plenty of balance present resulting in carry and backspin gap to gap. Both young contact and power tools are building as the 5-foot-11, 165 pound frame continues to mature.

Henry Christy (2027 SS, Denver, CO) flashed looseness and fluidity to the stroke from the right side, starting from an open stance producing consistent line drive contact to the pull side of the field. Christy displayed good feel for the barrel with bat speed through the zone to pair.

Gavin Marsh (2027 OF, Lakewood, CO) produced a simple line drive approach back up the middle during his round, starting from a slightly open stance that used the 5-foot-10, 135 pound frame to the full potential.

Hayden Homami (2027 OF, Highlands Ranch, CO) immediately showed off the pure juice potential with a bomb over the LF fence early in his round, starting from a narrow slightly upright stance with evident strength in the hands. The 6-foot, 210 pound frame has strength proportioned throughout with additional room to drive with the lower half and become even more dangerous on the offensive end.

Brady Wright (2027 3B, Denver, CO) created some backspin to the middle of the field, utilizing a high compact hand set that successfully remained inside the baseball for consistent contact. Expect the ‘27 grad to generate more carry in the future as the 5-foot-6, 125 pound frame fills out.
